Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, shopping demand has been increased globally and domesticly. Some buyer prone to select goods which are manufactured in local area has become increasingly common in many societies, while imported products has been decreased. There are several reasons behind this trend, particularly locally made and convenient and give opinion how much is positive or negetive development.
One of the main reasons for this trend is products are made from domestic areas. This is because goods are produced in near location with local ingrediants. As a result, people can get things very affordable. For example, in rural area, people purchase from nearby market which is located near Village because it is cheap and convenient. Moreover, many things available in time. Due to emergency situation, people may find valuable any time because it is convenient. For instance, If products are made in farms and it is acoording to seasons, individuals receive healthier food source.
One major benefit of this development is economy has been improved. This is because people purchase many things locally for their regular needs which can help to boost ecomical development. As a result, many countries can be beneficial from domestic production. To illustrate, numerous farmars are doing work in farm to make money from that so economical growth has been increased. Another significant advantage is higher freshness food and better taste. When , produce is harvested closer to pick ripness rather than artificially, people can receive higher vitamin and mineral from fruits and vegetables.
In conclusion, choosing domestic food has become increasingly common mainly because of produce in local areas and it is to avilable for individuals convinces. I consider this trend to be positive because it boosts nations economy and give fress and neutination source of food.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the prompt: you give reasons for choosing local goods and clearly judge the trend positively. Affordability, convenience, support for the economy, and freshness are relevant points, and the farm example helps illustrate the benefits. However, the reasons are not always clearly separated from the positive effects, and some claims need fuller explanation. For instance, the point that local products are available “in time” and useful in an emergency is vague, while the economic benefit is asserted rather than explained in detail. The response also focuses mainly on food, although the question concerns goods more broadly. Develop each main idea with a clearer explanation or specific example to make the response more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining reasons, a paragraph on benefits, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “One of the main reasons,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph moves from affordability to availability and then seasonal farm produce without making the relationship between these points explicit. In the second body paragraph, the shift from economic growth to freshness is also abrupt. Some references, such as “that” in the farming example, are not fully clear. Group related points together and use linking language to show how each example supports the main idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “domestic production,” “local ingredients,” “freshness,” and “vitamin and mineral,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “One major benefit of this development.” However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision, including “domesticly,” “negetive,” “ingred iants,” “ecomical,” and “neutination.” Several expressions are unnatural or unclear, such as “shopping demand has been increased,” “people can get things very affordable,” and “higher freshness food.” Build accuracy in common collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would make your ideas easier to follow and give you greater flexibility when discussing local and imported goods.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, using structures such as “This is because…” and “When produce is harvested closer to peak ripeness…” This shows some range, and the main message is generally understandable. However, some grammatical errors affect clarity and control. For example, “Some buyer prone to select goods” needs a complete verb structure, and “imported products has been decreased” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The opening sentence, “shopping demand has been increased,” also uses an awkward passive construction. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “in rural area” and “When , produce.” Review agreement and sentence formation, and proofread punctuation; accurate control of these patterns would make your complex sentences more effective.
