Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are many advantages of selecting the products which are produced in your own country rather than purchased them from another state. Many people think this is good for the economy and others believe it does not affects the country's profit. However, nowadays people frequently choosing the imported product, to maintain the upper class thinking. From my perspective, it is positive approach.
There are many reasons behind consuming the locally made products. Firstly, it is convenient, people get any product immediately because they made locally and there is no shortage of them. Secondly, the price are competative because many producers make same products, so their objective is making their price low then market. Moreover, the imported products take time for delivery and they are expensive than local products. Additionally, if you find the product is damage after the delivery, you cannot able to return or exchange it quickly.
The government should encourage industries to produce all products locally, by investments. Import are very expensive and from this process your country can not success in future. By producing high quality products any state can save their profits

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear view that buying locally is positive and offer relevant reasons, including convenience, lower prices, and easier returns. However, the task is only partially addressed: the reasons consumers are choosing local goods are not fully explained, and the discussion of whether this is positive or negative focuses mainly on economic benefits. The opening also introduces an unclear contrast about imported products and “upper class thinking,” which is not developed. Your final paragraph shifts to what governments should do rather than extending the evaluation. The response is 64 words below the required minimum, so several ideas remain underdeveloped. Explain each reason with a specific example and discuss wider effects, such as jobs, freshness, or environmental impact.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a paragraph listing reasons, and a concluding paragraph about local production. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Moreover” help readers follow the list. However, the overall progression is limited because the final paragraph introduces government investment without clearly connecting it to the earlier reasons or evaluating the trend. Some links are mechanical, and the opening moves between different claims without explaining their relationship. Develop a clearer sequence: explain why consumers choose local goods, then assess the benefits and any drawbacks, and conclude with your position. Use referencing and transitions to show how each example supports the main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “locally made products,” “imported products,” “producers,” and “delivery,” so the main subject is clear. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural. For example, “maintain the upper class thinking” is unclear, “the country's profit” is imprecise, and “save their profits” does not express the intended economic benefit clearly. There are also spelling errors such as “competative.” Aim for precise phrases such as “support domestic businesses” and “retain more money within the national economy.” Check spelling and choose expressions that fit the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can generally understand your main points. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently, including in basic verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. Examples include “it does not affects,” “people frequently choosing,” “the price are,” and “you cannot able to return.” The sentence beginning “Firstly, it is convenient, people get any product immediately” also joins two independent clauses with only a comma. These errors can make the reader pause or interpret a point less easily. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and separate complete clauses with a full stop or a suitable conjunction. Build longer sentences only after checking their structure.
