Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few customers are rapidly selecting to purchase the goods which are manufactured in their local area as compared to the other regions good.
There are ample reasons behind this which i will explain in the bottom paragraphs. As per my opinion, it is more positive trend and i will explain the reasons of that.
To commence with, first reason is that if they are getting the goods from local area they can choose it wisely, because that product is in front of their eyes. Moreover other reason is, the long waiting time. Taking a good illustration, if a shop keeper needs that product in short time they can get it on time due to the availability of the product is easy in the markets, however if they have to order it from the other countries like China and Japan etcetra. It gonna take time, because of the long shipping days and after that the order will get delivered.
Furthermore, the other reason is that if they will getting it from the local market they do not have the need to pay the extra money for the delivery. They can get the items on demand as well as can directly sell to the customer. The other and the significant reason is that it will give the employment to the local sellers by which the growth of the local area will increase.
To be conclude, by selecting the products from the local markets people are participating in the economy due to, they are giving the emploment to the local workers. In addition, they are getting everything on time as well, they do not have to wait for the item.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both parts of the question: you give several reasons for choosing local goods and state that you see this as a positive trend. The points about easier access, avoiding delivery costs, and supporting local employment are relevant. However, the explanation of why consumers choose local products is not always precise: the example about a shopkeeper needing stock quickly shifts attention from consumers, and the claim that buyers can “choose it wisely” because the product is visible needs clearer explanation. Your positive position is clear, but its benefits are mostly listed rather than developed with specific examples or fuller cause-and-effect reasoning. Develop each main point more fully and connect it directly to consumers and the wider community.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall shape, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The ideas are generally grouped sensibly: access and delivery time appear together, followed by delivery costs and employment. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “In addition” help signal progression. However, some connections feel mechanical or unclear. “There are ample reasons behind this which i will explain in the bottom paragraphs” announces the structure rather than advancing the argument, while “To be conclude” introduces a conclusion awkwardly. The shopkeeper example also interrupts the focus on consumers. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make the relationship between each reason and the question explicit; clearer referencing would also help readers follow who is buying, selling, or receiving goods.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “local market,” “shipping,” “availability,” “employment,” and “economy,” so the main ideas are understandable. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “significant reason” and “participating in the economy.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less natural: “selecting to purchase,” “other regions good,” and “give the employment” are examples. Informal or unsuitable expressions such as “It gonna take time” and “etcetra” also weaken the register. Build a more precise set of topic phrases and check common word partnerships, for example “choose to buy,” “goods from other regions,” and “create employment.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “if,” and “however,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. Some sentence structures are nevertheless faulty, particularly when several ideas are joined: “if they will getting it from the local market” and “due to the availability of the product is easy” show problems with verb forms and clause construction. There are also errors in agreement and articles, as in “the growth of the local area will increase,” and punctuation is inconsistent, especially around commas and sentence boundaries. These issues make some sentences difficult to process, even though the main message remains clear. Practise accurate conditional forms and build complex sentences around one clear main clause.
