Student answer (Band 5.0)
There are many people who buy different type of things. In the world there are three types of people one who want to buy some thing and they have need buy not able to buy. Second, who need any thing and they buy from local market and third, who have a lot of money and buy every thing they like and they mostly prefer brands. I think it is a positive development for customers select to buy local products because it give alot of confidence to local production.
First of all, In the world there are many imported companies who have many product which are used by person in daily routine. like shoes, clothes, and perfumes these are most selling good in our daily life. Many international brands have very high price but gave customer a good service and quality. Therefore many customers who are able to afford these product prefer to buy imported products.
However, many people in my country or around the world are not able to buy imported goods because this world contains large number of middle class people. They only buy product whenever they need. For instance, they only go for shopping when an festival or a special moment come in their life. They choose local market baised on their budget. In many countries there are many local market who produce very good products and some time quality match with the imported goods. It also give a lot of confidence to local market and local market also try their best to fullfill customer demand and match with quality
In conclusion, there are many people around theworld wo only buy luxury product or imported goods but in this world large number of peoples prefer local market instead of imported products because of their budget and shortage of time. I believe this is a positive trend where consumers are increasingly choosing to buy goods that are produced in local areas, rather then imported products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view that buying locally is positive, and you identify affordability as a reason, especially when you say middle-income consumers choose local markets “based on their budget.” You also acknowledge that imported brands can offer good service and quality. However, the response only partially develops both questions: the reasons are mainly reduced to price, while other possible motivations—such as supporting local jobs, freshness, or lower transport impacts—are not explored. The opening classification of consumers is confusing and does not directly explain the trend. Your conclusion repeats the position but adds little support. To strengthen the response, explain the causes more fully and show specifically how local purchasing benefits consumers or communities. The stated length requirement is met; 11 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and transitions such as “First of all,” “However,” and “In conclusion” help signal stages of the discussion. Nevertheless, progression is uneven: the opening’s three categories of people are difficult to follow and do not lead clearly into the main argument. The first body paragraph focuses on imported goods, while the next shifts to local purchasing, but the relationship between these points is not consistently explained. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, and references such as “this world” and “they” can be unclear. Improve cohesion by giving each paragraph one clear purpose, using more precise references, and connecting examples explicitly to the reasons and your positive judgement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the basic contrast, including “imported goods,” “local market,” “brands,” “quality,” and “budget.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “local market” and “imported products.” Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “give a lot of confidence to local production,” “fullfill customer demand,” and “shortage of time”; these make parts of the argument less clear or natural. Spelling and word-form errors, including “baised,” “alot,” and “peoples,” also reduce control. Build a more precise range for explaining economic and community effects, and check spelling and collocations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “However” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “it give alot of confidence” has subject–verb agreement problems, while “they have need buy not able to buy” lacks a clear grammatical structure. There are also errors with articles, plurals and verb forms, as in “an festival,” “many local market who produce,” and “a special moment come.” Punctuation and sentence boundaries need attention, particularly in the long opening. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add complex clauses while checking agreement, articles and verb forms.
