Dear Manager,
I am writing to express my interest to transferring to a different department in same company. As, I was work there for the past two years, I believe that moving to another department would be helpful to me to develop my skills and advance my career.
During my time in my current position, I have gained valuable experience in customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving. I have also learned that how to handle responsibilities perfectly. These experience have helped me grow professionally and understand the operations better.
I believe the company would benefit from my transfer because I already have a understanding of our policies and procedures, and work culture.

Thank you for considering my request. I would be grateful for the opportunity to discuss this matter further.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5
You have successfully addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly outlined your learning experiences, explained the benefits of your transfer to the company, and provided a sound justification for remaining with the organization. The tone is appropriate for a formal business letter. To reach a higher band, ensure that your ideas are slightly more developed; for instance, when mentioning 'customer service' or 'problem-solving,' you could briefly specify a particular project or achievement to make your case more compelling. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5
The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You have used basic cohesive devices such as 'During my time,' 'Although,' and 'This would allow' to link your ideas. However, the flow between some sentences is slightly mechanical. To improve, try to vary your transition words and ensure that the progression of ideas feels more natural. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different sections of your request, which helps the reader follow your argument easily. The structure is clear and serves the purpose of the letter well.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, using terms like 'professionally,' 'operations,' and 'supportive work environment.' There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'interest to transferring' (should be 'interest in transferring') and 'with gaining a new success' (which is slightly unnatural). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, incorporating more precise collocations or less common professional terminology would elevate your score. The current range is functional but lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are several grammatical slips that occur throughout the text, such as 'As, I was work there' (should be 'As I have been working there'), 'learned that how to handle' (should be 'learned how to handle'), and 'These experience have helped' (should be 'These experiences have helped'). These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable, though they do not impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct usage of auxiliary verbs. Increasing the frequency of error-free complex sentences will help you achieve a higher band.
