Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my transition from my current position to a quality assurance department as QA officer. I would like to request your assistance for guiding me through out the process.

As a quality control technician I have gained important skills such product formation, maintenance of raw material and so on. In addition, this company has made me strong in soft skills such as team work, effective communication and so on. If I could join the new department it would be not only better for my bright future but also as I am expert in handling the documents and have enough knowledge about core products and it's line. Moreover, I can firmly communicate internationally with proper presentation of documents. This will help company to prevent any audits form ministry.

The very strong reasons behind not leaving the company are mainly the people in managing team are extremely supportive. Furthermore, the team work I have seen here is best which I have never seen it before. I really appreciate all to support me in my journey. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to get in touch via phone call. My cell is [redacted phone].

Yours faithfully,

Foram P.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly stated what you learned in your current role, explained the benefits of your transfer to the company, and provided reasons for wanting to stay. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For example, phrases like 'and so on' are too vague and do not demonstrate a full development of your professional experience. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific examples of your achievements or the exact nature of the 'core products' you handle. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a manager, and the purpose is clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by repetitive phrasing and some mechanical transitions. The use of 'and so on' twice in the first paragraph is a sign of limited cohesive variety. While the progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, the referencing is sometimes slightly awkward, such as in the sentence 'the team work I have seen here is best which I have never seen it before', which lacks smooth connectivity.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, covering professional topics like 'quality assurance', 'raw material', and 'audits'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For instance, 'express my transition' is not the standard way to phrase a request for a transfer, and 'product formation' is slightly unnatural in this context. You rely on some repetitive and informal fillers like 'and so on'. To improve, focus on using more precise professional terminology and avoiding vague generalisations. The spelling is generally accurate, but the word choice lacks the precision required for a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors that persist. For example, 'assistance for guiding me through out' should be 'assistance in guiding me throughout', and 'it's line' contains an incorrect possessive apostrophe. There are also issues with article usage and prepositions, such as 'help company' (should be 'help the company') and 'audits form ministry' (should be 'audits from the ministry'). While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
