Dear ....................................,

Student answer (Band 7.5)

Dear Mr. Thompson,

I am writing to formally request an internal transfer to the Marketing Department, as I believe this transition is vital for my long-term career development.

Over the past two years in my current role within Customer support, I have gained invaluable insight into our client base, refined my communication skills, and mastered our product technicalities. This experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of our user's primary needs and pain points.

By moving to Marketing, I can directly, leverage this deep consumer knowledge to help design more targeted campaigns, ultimately increasing conversion rate and benefiting the company's bottom line. My firsthand experience with client feedback will allow me to bridge the gap between user reality and marketing strategy effectively.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and deeply value our corporate culture and supportive team environment, which is why I am eager to progress my career within this organization rather than seeking external opportunities.

Thank you for considering my request, and I look forward to discussing this further.

Yours sincerely,

Aesha Patel
