Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly state what you have learned as a receptionist, explain the benefits of your transfer to the clinical coordinator role, and express your loyalty to the company. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of how the company would benefit from your move is quite brief and could be expanded with more specific details about how your current skills would translate to the new role. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though it could be slightly more professional in its phrasing.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your request. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore' and 'For this reason' to link your ideas. However, the transition between sentences is sometimes a bit mechanical, and the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words. Additionally, the paragraphing is functional, but the structure of the sentences within the paragraphs could be more fluid to ensure a smoother progression of ideas throughout the letter.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'customer service', 'crisis management', and 'inventory'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor errors, such as 'I am the beneficial for company' instead of 'I would be an asset to the company' and 'quite from company' instead of 'quit the company'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit your ability to express ideas with precision. Expanding your vocabulary to include more professional collocations would help improve your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'This company is not only become my family but also become my comfort place' (incorrect verb tense/structure) and 'As I already well organized' (missing verb). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but there are minor issues with spacing and comma usage. While your meaning is always clear, the frequency of these errors suggests that you need to focus on subject-verb agreement and sentence construction to reach a higher band.
