Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the prompt. You mentioned your learning in the production department, explained the benefits of your transfer to Quality Assurance, and expressed your desire to stay with the company. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the explanation of how the company would benefit is a bit vague, focusing more on your personal desire to move than on specific value-added contributions. To improve, ensure that each point is fully expanded with clear, professional reasoning. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though it could be more polished.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical structure, with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly awkward, such as the transition 'As if now I know the all the procedure'. Paragraphing is present, but the flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors, which makes the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition to') would help improve the flow and make the relationships between your ideas clearer to the reader.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range expected at higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'boast my confident' (likely meaning 'boost my confidence') and 'grab many practical things'. Additionally, there are some minor spelling and collocation issues, such as 'vey polite' and 'these industry'. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more professional collocations and ensuring that your word choices are accurate and contextually appropriate for a business letter.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'I had came through' (should be 'I have come through'), 'As I had 3 year of experienced' (should be 'As I have 3 years of experience'), and 'the colleagues are family to me now and I senior are vey polite'. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract from the message, although they do not completely impede communication. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and correct verb tense usage will significantly improve your accuracy.
