Dear sir,

I hope this letter finds you in great spirit. I'm writing to make you aware about my intentions regarding career growth anf future prospects for our company.

I knocked up the company almost two years ago and had a wonderful experience throughout my tenure. I have learned how to conduct myself while working in a team. I came up with my weaknesses and overcame it under your supervision. Most importantly, It's a platform that shifted my theoretical knowledge into practical experiences.

I'm well aware about company's policies and its favors to make us professionals, all that not allowing me to move towards another organization. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response covers all three bullet points required in the prompt. You state what you have learned in your present job, mentioning teamwork and the translation of theoretical knowledge into practical experience. You suggest how the company would benefit from moving you to the production department by boosting economy and understanding barriers. You also explain why you wish to stay within the company, citing your familiarity with company policies and your desire for career progression. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed or expressed with a degree of ambiguity, such as 'boosting economy' in relation to an internal departmental move, which aligns the response with Band 6.0 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement and follows a standard letter format starting with a greeting and ending with a sign-off. Paragraphing is utilised to separate distinct ideas, such as learning outcomes in the second paragraph and future intentions in the third. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition between sentences feels abrupt in places, and referencing is not always completely clear, such as 'all that not allowing me to move towards another organization.' These features place the response firmly in the Band 6.0 category.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common phrases such as 'career growth and future prospects' and 'theoretical knowledge into practical experiences.' However, there are noticeable lexical inaccuracies and awkward collocations throughout the text. For example, 'knocked up the company' is an inappropriate and unnatural idiom in this context, 'overcame it' has a singular-plural agreement issue, and 'oragnization' contains a spelling error. These slips in word choice and spelling place your lexical score at Band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

The writing includes a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over grammar. You successfully use structures such as 'I'm well aware about company's policies and its favors' and 'It would all be possible by shifting and polishing my skills.' However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward prepositions, such as 'aware about' instead of 'aware of,' and punctuation and article omissions like 'company's policies' missing the article 'the'. These errors occasionally cause slight hesitation for the reader, though they do not impede overall communication, supporting a Band 6.0 score.
