Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you describe learning to manage time and work in a team, propose moving to another department, and explain that you value the company’s supportive management. The request is clear, and the suggestion that the company could avoid hiring a new employee gives a relevant benefit. However, some points are less fully developed than others. For example, the skills gained through training and projects are mentioned but not linked to specific ways they could help the new department. The reason for staying is also brief and could be made more persuasive by explaining what you value about the company beyond its supportive environment. A more complete closing and a clearer, professional opening would make the letter feel more fully addressed to its purpose.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally clear sequence: you introduce the transfer request, describe what you have learned, explain the company’s potential benefit, and give a reason for staying. Paragraphing helps distinguish these points. Some connections between ideas are less clear, however. The sentence beginning “As I had all skills and knowledge of that field” does not clearly explain how your existing experience relates to the new department, and the transition from your career development to the company’s benefit could be smoother. The final sentence is incomplete, so the letter ends abruptly rather than bringing the request to a clear close. Use more precise links between each paragraph and finish with a complete closing request.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant workplace vocabulary, including “career development,” “training programmes,” “projects,” and “supportive management team,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “fulfill your desire,” but this is not a natural collocation in this context; “meet the company’s needs” would be clearer. Spelling and word-form errors—including “deveelopment,” “excutive,” “succesful,” and “copmany”—are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the vocabulary. Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “higher position” and “nothing to learn new.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural professional collocations while retaining the useful range of job-related terms you already use.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as” and “which,” and the main message is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain. For example, “I have became” uses the wrong verb form, while “since 2 years of working” does not express the time period correctly. In “I appreciate if you could arrange something,” the conditional structure needs a more suitable form, and the final sentence is incomplete. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction in phrases such as “a team work successful.” These errors do not usually prevent the reader from understanding your request, but checking verb forms, clause structure, and sentence completion would improve control.
