Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You identify your two years of experience and mention skills gained in digital marketing, team leadership, and planning for clients. You also explain that supportive colleagues and a positive workplace make you want to stay. However, the central request is not fully addressed: you ask to move to a “higher level” and become a team lead, rather than clearly requesting a transfer to a different department. The benefit to the company is asserted in “a drastic rise on your sell” but is not explained with a clear link to the new department or specific contribution you could make there. Develop each bullet directly: name the department you seek, describe relevant skills, and show how your transfer would help the company.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The letter has a recognisable opening, body paragraphs, and closing, and the sequence from experience to reasons for staying is generally understandable. Paragraphing helps separate the main points. However, progression is weakened by abrupt or unclear connections, such as “Because, I have gained experience…” after a sentence fragment, and “Lastly” introduces the reason for staying without a clear transition from the company-benefit point. “Firstly” and “Lastly” also create an incomplete sequence. Use one paragraph for each task point and connect them with straightforward transitions, while ensuring each sentence follows logically from the previous one. A clearer request near the beginning would also help the reader follow the letter’s purpose.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant workplace vocabulary, including “Digital Marketing,” “team lead,” “vision plan,” and “colleagues,” and the reader can generally understand your intended message. There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “career development” and “positive response.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward: “adhare” does not express the intended meaning, “rise on your sell” is unclear, and “experience on leading” is not natural phrasing. Spelling errors such as “collogues” also reduce precision. Choose familiar, accurate expressions over ambitious but unclear wording, and check spelling and collocations. For example, explain that your skills could “increase sales” or “support the department’s targets.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and some sentences communicate a complete idea, such as “The experience and the group of collogues I have got are so supportive that it feels like home.” However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical patterns are noticeable. “It is an honour working for two years… for me” is awkwardly structured, while “considering to my hard work” uses an incorrect pattern. “Because, I have gained…” is a fragment, and “I feel I am capable to upgrade” needs a different construction. Review infinitive and gerund patterns, prepositions, and sentence boundaries. For instance, write “I feel capable of taking on a more senior role” and connect the reason clause to a complete sentence.
