Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, famous people are constantly surrounded by lights, wherever they go they find themselves followed by the cameramen and women photographing them from different angles. While some individuals claim that it's really significant since they are the public's center of attention, I strongly believe photographers are not supposed to follow famous people.
On of the main reasons why photographers should not follow famous people is the influence they have on the public especially teenagers. Generally when watching famous people's lives, young individuals get influenced by what they watch therefore they feel the need to do whatever it takes to meet that lifestyle, not being aware that they don't have the same financial stability nor the same life conditions. This may lead to low self- esteem amd feeling less confident and grateful with your own life. Furthermore, I believe there's a lot more interesting things that worth being captured other than people's lives which are supposed to be private, such as nature, animals and other breathtaking monuments that should be presented the world.
On the other hand, some individuals argue that it's crucial that the photographers capture the known people' lives mainly because it's considered as a source of entertainment for some elderly retired people. They also believe this might have a positive influence on young individuals as they motivate them to follow their paths and be successfull in their lives, since sometimes famous people tell a story of their success that contains starting from 0 which gives a sense of motivation to people to figure out their lives.
Finally, although photographing famous people's lives is undeniably significant, I firmly believe their lives should remain private to avoid the negative impact it may have on the public.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and make your own position clear: you oppose photographers following famous people, while acknowledging that coverage can entertain some retired people and motivate young audiences. Your discussion is relevant, but the two sides are not developed equally. The argument about teenagers comparing their lives with celebrities is explained through possible effects on confidence, whereas the opposing view is mainly asserted; the claim that celebrity stories motivate young people would be stronger with a specific example or explanation of how this benefit outweighs privacy concerns. The point about photographing nature and monuments is relevant but only briefly connected to the question. Develop each main idea with clearer reasoning and support to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph presenting your main reasons, a paragraph discussing the opposing view, and a conclusion that restates your position. Linking phrases such as “On the other hand” and “Finally” help readers follow the discussion, and the progression between paragraphs is generally logical. This already shows effective organisation, but some connections within sentences are less smooth. For example, “Generally when watching famous people's lives” does not clearly identify who is watching, and the shift from celebrity influence to nature photography feels abrupt. The conclusion also repeats the position without drawing together the two sides. Use clearer references and transitions between related points, and make the relationship between each example and your argument explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “financial stability,” “self-esteem,” “source of entertainment,” and “negative impact.” These choices communicate your ideas, and you attempt more expressive language such as “breathtaking monuments.” However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, which limits precision: “the public's center of attention” is not a natural way to describe public interest, and “things that worth being captured” is incorrectly formed as a phrase. There are also spelling errors, including “successfull” and “amd.” Aim for more natural topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. For instance, distinguish between public interest in celebrities and the photographers’ pursuit of them, rather than describing the people themselves as a “center of attention.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in “While some individuals claim…” and a reason clause beginning “since sometimes famous people tell a story…”. Most of the meaning remains clear, but some grammatical errors occur. “On of the main reasons” should be “One of the main reasons,” and “wherever they go they find themselves…” needs punctuation between the clauses. In “when watching famous people's lives,” the subject is unclear; a complete clause such as “When young people watch celebrities’ lives…” would be clearer. The sentence beginning “This may lead to…” also shifts from “young individuals” to “your own life.” Work on clause boundaries, complete sentence structures, and consistent pronoun reference while continuing to use complex sentences.
