Student answer (Band 6.5)
These days, famous personalities are photographed be professional photographers where ever they visit according to few people it is a good thing because of the public interests in their lives while others believe that it is a wrong thing to follow. In my opinion, following a famous personality up to some extent is good however there are many negatives of it which cannot be neglected.
To begin with, nowadays famous personalities are photo graphed by photographers where ever they visited as public are interested in their lives as youngsters are mostly influenced by the lifestyle they live and wanted to live the same life such as visiting luxurious hotels and travelling abroad which gives them an opportunity to experience the same feeling as the celebrity might feel. Moreover, it allows them to interact with the communities where they visited and helps them to understand the values and beliefs which as a result increases their interest towards the historical background of the community.
On the other hand, some believe that photographers are wrong to follow famous people because it discloses their privacy by focusing on every single detail such as meeting with their family members and covering the details of exact location can sometimes aware those who are waiting to harm these personalities. Further, it creates fear in the mind of the parents that their children are following these personalities in every aspect like eating expensive foods and purchasing clothes which creates burden on the parents by fulfilling the demands of their child by their hard earned money.
In my opinion, following these famous people is good up to some extent by keeping in mind that the level they achieved today is because of their years of hard work and copying them in every aspect is not possible by medium class families.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding the public's interest in celebrities is a bit tangential, focusing more on the influence on youngsters rather than the public's general interest. The conclusion is incomplete, which impacts the overall task completion. To improve, ensure that each paragraph directly supports the prompt's specific points and provide a fully developed conclusion that synthesizes the main arguments and restates your position clearly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the body paragraphs. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'nowadays' and 'moreover'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between ideas could be smoother. The essay ends abruptly with 'To, conclude,', which indicates a failure to manage the final stage of the response effectively. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring a complete, coherent conclusion would raise the score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'luxurious' and 'discloses', but there are also instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'wrong thing to follow' and 'medium class families' (instead of 'middle class'). Spelling errors like 'photo graphed' and 'where ever' (wherever) are present. To achieve a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensure accurate spelling of common academic and general vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('public are interested'), tense consistency ('where ever they visited'), and punctuation (unnecessary commas and missing full stops). Some sentences are run-on or lack proper structure, which occasionally makes the meaning slightly difficult to follow. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring consistent verb tenses, and proofreading for punctuation errors. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will also help improve the score.
