Student answer (Band 6.5)

I do believe that celebrities are photographed by professional photographers wherever they go, this stated for being nice for some people as they want to deep dive in their lives, and others think of this as an negative impact on their personal and professional lives. I will discuss both the scenarios in the following paragraphs.

It’s being observed that celebrities are followed everywhere and the photographer does like to click their pictures for the social media promotion. This can make a positive impression on few people lives, for instance we have always seen that famous people consider of their physical and mental health at the top priority so by following their routines some people get influenced in a healthy manor and try to make them selves as physically and mentally strong. As a result people get a beneficial effect in their personal life.

Then there are quite a few people who believe that photographers should avoid this behaviour of clicking celebrities photographs everywhere. To support this statement i would say there are several famous personals whose family is as shy and cold as like a normal person so generally they don’t really feeling comfortable by photographers to be followed every time, in a result there is a chance of their personal life get exposed and this consider as a negative behaviour. Moreover, to justify this statement i have a example to share my taught on this as few female celebrities perceive inappropriate angle of photography while walking around the city streets or gym sessions and this conceive as a real disaster for the society as a whole.

To summarise the topic i would say it depends on the comfort of celebrities on how they find their life to be explained via photographic sites, personally i would rather stick with that photographers are inappropriate to follow famous personals.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that celebrities influence people's health, the explanation is a bit vague. Similarly, the argument regarding privacy is relevant but could be supported with more specific, real-world examples rather than general statements about 'female celebrities'. The position is clear, but the overall depth of the argument is restricted by the limited vocabulary and grammatical control, which prevents a more sophisticated exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'for instance', 'moreover', and 'to summarise', which help the reader follow your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly forced. The referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the connection between ideas could be smoother. The structure is sufficient to meet the requirements for a coherent response, but it lacks the sophisticated, unobtrusive linking required for higher bands.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'nice', 'negative impact', and 'good thing'. There are also several instances of awkward word choices or incorrect collocations, such as 'healthy manor' (instead of 'manner'), 'famous personals' (instead of 'personalities'), and 'conceive as a real disaster'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensuring that words are used in their correct context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the readability of the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('this consider as a negative behaviour'), incorrect verb forms ('they don’t really feeling comfortable'), and awkward phrasing ('this stated for being nice'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency would be highly beneficial.
