Student answer (Band 6.5)

Nowadays photographic professional increasing dramatically in all over the world. While some people think that this is a good trend to follow well-known person, other believe that it is a wrong phenomenon for both like for photographers and for public. In this essay, I will discuss my reason for this scenario in the upcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, when a photographers follow any famous personality it is creates a beneficial effect on general public. To elaborate it, nowadays, mostly young people love to follow their loving and famous actors and they love to know about their personal lifestyles and they motivate themself to become a famous actor or actress. Whenever photographs take a photo of famous person sometimes they take wrong shorts like their back picture and while kissing their partner and that's why numerous photograph make a good amount of money from a celebrity because they blackmail them for their private pictures.

Despite the abovementioned, In my view, it is creates a negative impact on upcoming generation and it is bad for photographers to follow a famous person. To explain it more, photographers have a lot option to build their career in other ways such as animal and nature pictures are also good way to show their photography professional. Furthermore, when they chase any other well-known person they do not focus on their real work and when they capture any wrong picture of them they get punished by famous personality like they send them to jail and ruined their life as well as future in just a seconds. Also youth do not focus on their career they mostly follow to their ideal ones which are famous in all over the world.

In conclusion, although clicking picture from a professional photograph is more better than normal picture and people take interest in their private life, I reckon that they should need to concentrate on other thing instead of following any famous personality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. For instance, the argument regarding 'blackmail' in the second paragraph is a bit extreme and lacks a clear connection to the broader debate about public interest versus privacy. While the position is clear, the supporting points could be more logically extended. The essay covers all parts of the prompt, but the depth of analysis is limited, which prevents it from reaching a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'Despite the abovementioned', and 'In conclusion', though some are used mechanically or slightly incorrectly (e.g., 'Despite the abovementioned' is not a standard transition). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the referencing is occasionally confusing, such as the transition between the benefits of photography and the mention of blackmail. Overall, the structure is sufficient to guide the reader through the argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'photographic professional' instead of 'professional photography' and 'wrong shorts' instead of 'inappropriate shots'. Some collocations are unnatural, such as 'ruined their life... in just a seconds'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of sophisticated vocabulary and the presence of errors in word formation limit the score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('it is creates'), article usage ('a photographers'), and pluralization ('photograph make'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures. More attention to basic grammar rules and sentence construction is needed.
