Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 186 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas, as the conclusion is incomplete and the arguments are underdeveloped. While you address both views and provide a personal opinion, the lack of depth and the unfinished nature of the final paragraph prevent a full discussion of the topic. To improve, you must expand on your points with more detailed explanations and concrete examples, ensuring that your essay reaches the required length and provides a fully rounded argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the logical flow is hindered by the incomplete ending and some awkward transitions. While you use some cohesive devices like 'On one hand' and 'In contrast', the overall structure feels fragmented due to the brevity of the response. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly and ensure that each paragraph has a clear, fully developed topic sentence that leads logically to the next point.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'differnt', 'sence', 'statisfaction', 'considerded', and 'carrer'. Additionally, some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'pushing the burden on videographers'. To improve, focus on learning collocations and synonyms for common words. Proofreading for spelling mistakes is also essential, as these errors can distract the reader and lower the overall quality of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Examples include 'Capturing the pictures... has become common trend' (missing article), 'few fellows oppose' (unnatural phrasing), and 'someone personal life' (missing possessive 's'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing around commas. To improve, work on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Aim to construct more complex sentences while ensuring they remain grammatically accurate to demonstrate better control over your writing.
