Student answer (Band 7.0)

Celebrities are surrounded by photographers wherever they go. It is often argued that it is positive thing as people are interested in their favourite influencer's life. While others believe it is completely wrong to follow them. This essay will discuss both views and iclude why I believe limited exposure is beneficial but in limited form.

On the one hand, photographers play vital role in giving exposure to a common man and instantly making them into an influential people. This gives them the opportunities to work with different brands and companies allowing them to earn a descent amount of money. As a result, famous people can have long and stable life and career. For instance, A young boy name Ashok darji in Nepal who come from a less previleged community, was featured in social media as a talented young singer at an early age. He instantly became viral and opened many doors of opportunities.

On the other hand, excessive featuring of famous people can lead to issues related to privacy. Camera person following them everywhere can envade the basic rights of human and put these people's life in danger. As many criminals may understand the routine of such people like what they eat, do, or visit places. It may poses a serious threat to their life. Consequencely, such celebrities can face serious physical and mental issues that may hinder their overall health. For instance, many well-known public figures confess of having mentall issues like depression.

While introduction of such people in various platforms can help them to get the visibility to their audience, I believe no fames is bigger than personal secrecy. Every one has to respect the person personal life and paparazzi should not envade in any ways.

In conclusion, Although being photographers give exposure to the common people leading into opportunities, over exploitation of such features leads to exposing to threats leading to physical and mental harms. Therefore, photographers should features the people by respecting the person's privacy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of exposure for career growth and the risks to privacy and mental health. However, some arguments are slightly under-developed; for instance, the link between photographers and criminal activity could be more nuanced. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that the supporting examples are more tightly integrated into the argument to avoid a slight tendency toward over-generalisation.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' are used effectively to guide the reader. However, there are some minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the slightly awkward phrasing in the introduction ('iclude why I believe...'). Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the essay maintains a coherent structure throughout.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, with some attempts at less common items like 'previleged' (spelling error: privileged), 'envade' (spelling error: invade), and 'consequencely' (spelling error: consequently). While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, the spelling errors and occasional word-choice inaccuracies (e.g., 'no fames is bigger') slightly hinder the precision of the writing. To improve, focus on mastering the spelling of key academic vocabulary and ensuring collocations are used accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'it is positive thing' (missing article), 'A young boy name Ashok' (should be 'named'), and 'photographers should features' (subject-verb agreement). While these errors are noticeable, they do not impede communication. The control of punctuation is generally good, but the frequency of minor grammatical slips prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Increasing the variety of complex structures while focusing on accuracy will help improve this score.
