Student answer (Band 6.5)

Professional photographers are taking the photos of the celebrities at every places they visit. According to few individuals, It is good to taking photos of their lifestyle, as their big fan following can easily be influenced to follow the positive things of them. While, others have different opinions that it is not good to follow them everywhere due to the privacy of their life. In my view, the trend of taking the photos of the famous personalities is good, because they can motivate to their fan to adopt their good habit.

The inclination towards clicking the pictures of the famous people is, they can influence the today's generation to do the good work. As many of the famous personalities are involved in the NGOs and some social activities. The younger generation can easily be influenced to perform the social activities just because their ideals are doing it. By taking part in the social activities, they can generate many of the skills and good habits in their self, such as leadership skills, and these good skills and habits can help them to improve their lifestyle as well. For instance, a photograph clicked of the famous cricketer Virat Kohli of eating a vegetarian food, influence majority of the public to shift their lifestyle to the vegetarian.

There are ample evidences to suggest that why photographers do not need to follow the celebrities, because it can disrupt their private life. They also have a right to live their lives in peace. Always followed by photographers give them a pressure to look good every time, while they are being clicked. Also, it can disrupt their private life as well.

In my view, Clicking the photos of the famous celebrities is good. There are many of the individuals who are started workout and making it as their habit, because they want to look good as their idol. Also, it can increase the many of the good personalities as well, such as help other individuals, respect women and elders, are one of them. For example, a research conducted in the USA shows, the admissions in the fitness centers and social clubs are increasing, because a football star Messi's viral photo shows he has the more interest in the social clubs and the fitness center.

In conclusion, to become a famous personalities has some benefits, but we can not ignore the drawbacks of them as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both sides of the issue and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the influence of celebrities on social habits and the right to privacy. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat repetitive; for instance, the argument regarding 'social activities' and 'fitness' is echoed across multiple paragraphs. While the position is consistent, the supporting examples, such as the mention of Virat Kohli or Messi, are a bit simplistic. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph introduces a distinct, well-developed point rather than restating similar concepts.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices, such as 'In my view', 'For instance', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions feel forced or repetitive. For example, the phrase 'In my view' is used to start two separate paragraphs, which disrupts the logical progression. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'them' in the conclusion, which lacks a precise antecedent. Improving the variety of linking words would enhance the overall flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'celebrities', 'personalities', 'privacy', and 'inclination'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'at every places', 'in their self', and 'generate many of the skills'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of the writing. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring correct pluralization and preposition usage.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'photographers are taking... at every places'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'Always followed by photographers give them a pressure'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for basic agreement errors would be highly beneficial.
