Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays Photography becomes very common due to the availability of numerous digital gadgets. Popular people are often gets clicked by media and professionals. People has contrarily views on this notion. I will give my opinion after discussing both sides.
Firstly, there is number of people believe that it is not wrong if the celebrities are photographed by photographers. To explain it, famous people are kind of role model in the life of younger generation as per repercussions they want to know about their lives. Another cardinal point is that sometimes celebs want to be clicked by their choice to influence as well as to gain popularity by presenting their lifestyle. For example, one influencer admitted in recent podcast that they call professionals to click their photos.
While the rest of population opine that it uncomfortable for them. To explicate it, media disturb their privacy by following famous individuals everywhere to get more views on their channels. Sometimes, they even post videos of the funeral of celebrities and not giving the personal space to their colleagues in this kind of situations. Additionally, they disclose their privacy to general public which leads to threats in their lives. For instance, recently a female actress was clicked from wrong angle intentionally to gain some views.
It seems to me that the photographers should be aware about their boundries. Moreover, they should be respectful towards the privacy of popular people and ask for the permission before clicking them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the essay falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum requirement, which impacts the depth of development. While the ideas are relevant, some points, such as the mention of funeral photography, are introduced but not fully explored in the context of the broader debate. The position is consistent, but the brevity limits the overall impact and the thoroughness of the arguments presented.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Another cardinal point', and 'While the rest of population' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph could be smoother. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear, and the paragraphing is appropriate for the task.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'cardinal point' and 'repercussions', though 'repercussions' is used incorrectly in context. Some word choices are slightly awkward, such as 'popular people' instead of 'celebrities' or 'public figures'. While there are occasional errors in collocation, they do not impede communication, and the range is sufficient to convey the intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Photography becomes', 'People has contrarily views', 'there is number of people') and article usage. While the meaning remains clear, these errors are noticeable throughout the text. To reach a higher band, the writer needs to focus on consistent control of basic grammar and ensure that complex structures are formed accurately.
