Student answer (Band 7.0)
In today's world, famous personalities are being followed by cameraman at almost every place. It has been an issue of debate among individuals whether it is a good trend since many people follow their lifestyle or this has to be stopped by considering their privacy. I will discuss both views, while I agree with the later viewpoint.
To commence with the people who think clicking the pictures of famous people may be a good think. Since youngsters are very curious about their role models, photographers want to capture the every movements of them , and want to share with the world. Almost every sort of fashions or trends have been introduced in the society by actors. Therefore, to get information about the latest fashion and trend, cameraman follows them every corner of the world. Moreover, many individuals are working in magazines; as a result, It is their duty to capture any good news about famous personalities as they earn their living from this profession.
However, I side with those who think it is wrong to follow famous people. Firstly, actors and sportsman they all have their personal life so people should respect their privacy. Sometimes photographers just start clicking pictures, and they do not care if person with in his/her personal space. For example they start clicking pictures while any sports person are eating or doing any other activities. Not only does cameraman affects their privacy, but he also affects their freedom. Because of them, actors can not move freely at any place, although they have security with them.
In opinion, even though people follow them because it is their job and they want to get information about latest trends, I believe it affect the famous person negatively since they do not have any privacy and freedom.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both sides of the issue and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the public's interest in fashion and the celebrities' right to privacy. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the argument regarding the economic necessity of photographers could be expanded further. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more depth and specific, nuanced examples rather than general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'Moreover', and 'However', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing, such as the use of 'the later viewpoint' instead of 'the latter'. Paragraphing is appropriate, and the progression of ideas is generally clear, though the conclusion is quite brief and could better synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'personalities' and 'curious', but the range is somewhat limited. Some word choices are slightly awkward or imprecise, such as 'clicking the pictures' (better: 'taking photographs') and 'good think' (which seems to be a typo for 'good thing'). Spelling is generally accurate, but the overall range of vocabulary is not yet sophisticated enough to reach the higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'cameraman follows them', 'Not only does cameraman affects') and article usage. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some errors in sentence construction that slightly disrupt the flow. To improve, the student should focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and ensuring consistent use of plural/singular forms, as these errors occur frequently throughout the text.
