Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent days it is quite common to see that media and professional photographers are busy to click the photos of renowned public figures. Because they have huge fan following and people really love to admire them and are interested in their lives. So people love this idea. However, on the contrary, Individuals think it is inappropriate. I agree with the later view and discuss the reasons in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, photographers always follow famous people where ever they go and always ready to click there photos and videos for their channels and publication. Because they are aware that they will get views and public really love to watch them specially their fans. A gorgeous picture can get millions of view and can generate revenue for the person. Mankind admire this approach. Hence, they are always up to date regarding their famous role models that what they are doing in their lives and what is going on. Moreover, youth get impressed by their lifestyle, appearance and personality they have owing to which, they started to follow them more.
On the other hand side, those who oppose this give their own reason that why this is wrong approach and what are the drawbacks it bring for the humans. Firstly, these people also have their own private life but because of media it is really hard and unsafe for them to live their live privately. This approach of media always bring attention to the youth and they get fascinated by their lavish lifestyle and appearance. They started to follow their fashion trend and even mimic their personality. Furthermore, they wasted their pivotal time, which they should utilize to build their career and later regret on their decision when they poorly perform in their education. What is more, some of them started to show off their luxuries and become crazy after brands.
In my perspective, it brings more drawback to the society and I am fully agree with the people who oppose this idea. Because this play as indispensable role of distracting our youth
In summary, I would like to reiterate my point of view that as public figure. It is important for the photographers to click their pictures so that people can get aware of their upcoming projects. But excessive publishing and posting distract out youth and bring negative impacts on our society.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the first body paragraph explains why the public is interested in celebrities, the second body paragraph focuses heavily on the negative impact on youth rather than the act of photography itself. The conclusion is slightly contradictory, as it suggests photographers have a role in promoting projects, which conflicts with your stated opposition to the practice. To improve, ensure that each paragraph directly supports your central argument and maintains a consistent stance throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand side', and 'In summary'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are awkward, such as 'Because this play as indispensable role'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be tighter. The use of cohesive devices is present but not always sophisticated, which limits the score in this criterion. Focusing on smoother sentence linking and more varied transition words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'renowned public figures', 'lavish lifestyle', and 'indispensable'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'busy to click the photos' (should be 'busy clicking photos') and 'mankind admire this approach' (which is too broad). There are also minor errors in word form, such as 'later' instead of 'latter'. To reach a higher band, aim for more precise vocabulary and ensure that collocations sound natural to a native speaker.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms, articles, and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'they started to follow them more', 'this play as indispensable role', 'distract out youth'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentence fragments and missing commas. While you attempt complex sentences, the frequency of errors is noticeable and occasionally distracts the reader. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that complex structures are formed correctly.
