Student answer (Band 6.0)

People have different views whether renowned people take photography anywhere where we go or not. Although some individuals think that photography is important for famous people when they go anywhere, according to my perspective they have a own life rather than clicking pictures and making videos.

On the one hand, there are several reasons due to which few masses think that photography is necessary for artists. First and foremost, Famous people need to take pictures and making videos when they do anything because if they would not it , they can decrease the number of followers. To explain, when they are more active on social media, their followers always follow his/ her footsteps because they consider them as a rule model and they always do that things which is done by his/her role model. So, it is necessary for them to post our life in social media.

On the other hand, i believe that famous people have an own privacy as a extent due to certain reasons. Firstly, sometime they suffer from anxiety and depression because sometime their personal life conflicts in front of the people if they always live in front of camera which put detrimental impact on their personal life and health so they should make a space from camera. In addition to it, if they would keep space from camera, they can enjoy their life according to own way and celebrate their happiness with their family which is very helpful for them to strong bonding with them.

To conclusion, while artists need to photography while they doing anything, according to me, they have a privacy in life because they can live according to own way instead of under pressure of followers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The argument regarding the necessity of photography for maintaining followers is relevant but lacks depth. Similarly, the discussion on privacy is a bit repetitive. While the task is addressed, the ideas could be more fully extended with more specific examples or nuanced reasoning. The position is consistent throughout, but the overall development remains at a basic level, which prevents it from reaching a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In addition to it', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'To conclusion'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'they' and 'them', which sometimes lack a precise antecedent. Overall, the progression of ideas is coherent, but the management of cohesive devices is not yet sophisticated.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'few masses' instead of 'some people' or 'rule model' instead of 'role model'. The phrase 'make a space from camera' is non-idiomatic. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'detrimental impact' and 'anxiety', the overall range is limited. The repetition of basic words like 'life' and 'people' indicates a need for a broader range of synonyms and more natural collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'if they would not it'), incorrect article usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'have an own privacy as a extent'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in sentence construction that occasionally impede clarity. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the writing from being considered consistently accurate. More attention to verb tenses and prepositional phrases is required.
