Student answer (Band 4.0)
keeping their memories alive is what i belive a photo does. in this digital era having a picture in your phone or computer is what people looking for. if you can afford a professional photographer is what a matter of discussion in this essay.
to begin with, in this modern world everyone wants to live their live at its best. a professional cameraman make your photo memorizing just by pose, quality of camera and editing. for me these three elements change the ugly photo to eyecatching . for insatance, on my recent trip to india, i went to visit taj mahal with my family. i click couple of pictures with my phone as i was having latest iphone but i was lacking somehwere. then i find profressional freelancer who was there he shows where to stand , what to do what not to do and he was holding dslr. so these key ingredients change overall my picture and whenever someone visit my home they appreciate the picture. but every thing come with a cost.
to continue, is a bit pricey, here affordability matters and whether it is worth it to spend that much there or not. for example, majority of people do professionals during their marriage or a big event in their life as it is once in a lifetime moment for them. anyhow, if you can't afford it you can learn how to change camera settings on you phone also perfect time to visit such place as internet makes these things easy. also you can use ai which will automatically do touchups to your photo,
in conclusion, i would recomend to hire a photographer if you can if not then learn those tools with the help of ai and you can easily modify your picture to the best.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 3.0
The response fails to address the specific prompt provided. The task asks for a discussion on the ethics and public interest regarding professional photographers following famous people (paparazzi). Instead, the essay discusses the personal benefits of hiring professional photographers for private events like weddings or trips to the Taj Mahal. Because the content is entirely off-topic and does not engage with the prompt's core theme of celebrity privacy versus public interest, it cannot be awarded a passing score for task achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak due to the off-topic nature of the content. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'to begin with' and 'in conclusion', they are often used mechanically. The transition between ideas is disjointed, and the lack of a clear central argument makes the flow difficult to follow. Paragraphing is present but does not effectively structure a coherent response to the actual task question.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are frequent spelling errors such as 'belive', 'memorizing' (used incorrectly for memorable), 'insatance', 'profressional', and 'recomend'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss complex topics, relying on basic, everyday language. The misuse of words like 'memorizing' instead of 'memorable' and the general lack of precision in word choice hinder the clarity of the message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The grammar is characterized by frequent errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with sentence structure, such as 'if you can afford a professional photographer is what a matter of discussion in this essay' and 'a professional cameraman make your photo memorizing'. Punctuation is inconsistent, with missing capital letters at the start of sentences and improper comma usage. The range of structures is limited, and the errors are pervasive throughout the text.
