Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays well-known people are photographed by professional protographers everywhere they go. some people think that this is good because public are interested in their lives. where as, other think that it is wrong that the photographers follow well-known people at all times. In this essay we will discuss both the views.
There are plethora of positive things about famous people are been photographed. First, people admire them and learn from them. For Instance, many young people of today's generation admires the famous TV actress Rachel from friends series on Netflix , they often try to dress up and speak confidently like her. Second, people who are struggling, and have lost hopes they can watch them and get motivated from them and do something better in their life. For example, my friend admire a famous actor Akshay kumar and often feel energetic to work hard and help people in they way he does.
on the other hand, I believe they are also ordinary people apart from their work who have their own life and need some privacy. For example, many famous are not able to enjoy their time when they are not working i.e. when they are on their vacation. well-known people have worked hard to reach at this level and hence deserve to enjoy their time without worring about been photographed.
To conclude, I believe famous people should be photograph at the acceptable level, that they are benefitial to public. but not at the cost of the famous peoples privacy.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The essay addresses both viewpoints and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding public interest is supported by examples, but the explanation of why this is 'good' remains superficial. The second body paragraph touches on privacy, but the discussion could be more nuanced to reach a higher band. The conclusion is brief and slightly repetitive. To improve, ensure that each point is fully extended with deeper analysis rather than just listing examples, and ensure the position is consistently maintained throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the argument. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First', 'Second', 'on the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'where as, other think'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. While the overall progression is logical, the use of cohesive devices is not always flexible or sophisticated, which keeps this criterion at a mid-level band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'protographers' and 'benefitial', and some awkward phrasing like 'plethora of positive things about famous people are been photographed'. The word choice is often repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good' or 'famous'. To improve, you should aim to use more precise collocations and academic vocabulary, and pay closer attention to spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'people are been photographed', 'my friend admire', and 'without worring about been photographed'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing capital letters at the start of sentences and issues with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of errors in basic grammar, such as subject-verb agreement and verb forms, prevents a higher score.
