Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'freedom to travel' is not clearly linked to the role of photographers, and the explanation of how celebrities are influenced by photographers is slightly confusing. The ideas are relevant but lack depth and logical progression in certain sections. To improve, ensure that each supporting point is fully explained with clear examples that directly relate to the prompt's core issue of privacy versus public interest.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'Ibefore commenting on my decision' and 'To reformulate'. Some transitions feel forced or do not logically connect the preceding sentence to the next. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly when discussing the impact of photography on celebrities. Improving the variety and natural flow of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of the response.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'skill photographer' instead of 'skilled photographer', 'acess with their personal gagets', and 'quite thoer career'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'renowed', 'inflused', 'insted', 'photoes') hinder the overall quality of the writing. A wider range of vocabulary and more attention to correct spelling and word forms are needed to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people not prefered'), missing articles, and incorrect sentence construction (e.g., 'if someone follow 24 hours... will not motivate you'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing spaces after periods and commas. While these errors do not completely prevent understanding, they are frequent enough to cause some difficulty for the reader and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
