Student answer (Band 6.0)

People love to capture their beautiful memories through photography although people leave but memories stay forever. It is a considerable debate whether famous celebrities should be photographed everywhere they spotted, while other opposed it they believe its wrong to follow people. This essay will examine both the views include my opinion in the forthcoming paragraphs.

There are numerous reasons why famous people should be photographed everywhere. The first and foremost is, interest. Many people especially youngsters are fan of such celebrities they not only want to notice each and every moment of famous people but also are willing to copy their living and fashion style because celebrities are the ones who promote fashion, what they wear, what the did become a trend among youngsters.

Paradoxically, there are plenty of reasons to support celebrities should not photographed. The primary reason is, privacy. Everyone has a right to live their life how they want because of independency. Hence, capturing every moment will hurt their feelings. They might feel disappointed while capturing them. For instance, media always capture each and every moments of famous celebrities such as Salman khan who is Indian Bollywood actor which might disappoint them because actors want to keep their person and private life separate.

To conclude, although it is good to copy famous celebrities and try to follow their style, it has some drawbacks as well which cannot be ignored such as they might be disappointed because of recording them. I believe there person life should be separate from professional life . Consequently, they should only be photographed when they want.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While the first body paragraph touches on the public's interest in fashion trends, the second paragraph regarding privacy is slightly repetitive and lacks depth. The argument could be strengthened by exploring the ethical implications of the paparazzi industry or the psychological impact on celebrities more thoroughly. The position is consistent throughout, but the supporting points are somewhat generic and could benefit from more nuanced analysis to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The first and foremost', 'Paradoxically', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are a bit mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'what they wear, what the did become a trend'. The use of cohesive devices is sufficient, but the flow between sentences could be smoother to achieve a more natural, sophisticated structure.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'everywhere they spotted' (should be 'are spotted') and 'they person life' (should be 'their personal life'). While the student attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'celebrities' and 'paparazzi' (implied), the range is limited. To improve, the student should focus on more precise collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing like 'each and every moment'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('what the did become'), incorrect verb forms ('should not photographed'), and punctuation errors. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing auxiliary verbs and incorrect pronoun usage.
