Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, popular faces are photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go. Few people say this is a good thing because the public are interested in their lives while other think photographers are wrong to follow famous people. This essay is in favor with later view point due to everyone need privacy.
To begin with former viewpoint, nowadays celebrities are photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go. Some people think that is a good thing because the public are interested in their lives. Because people like to know about their favorite celebrity. Where they go and what they do. To cite an example, we can see that many paparazzi always follow famous person. If celebrity has spent their personal time and paparazzi reached there, then celebrity get frustrated. Furthermore, sometimes celebrates called photographer because they want to create hype and gain followers on social media.
Additionally, some people believe that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. I strongly agree with this statement because everyone need privacy. It can be seen that media follows celebrity for their personal benefits. But they do not think about other people. sometimes famous person also wants privacy. For instance, most of the time media expose celebrity's personal life. Morever, famous person who want some privacy, but paparazzi go there and they spoil celebrity's personal party or any another thing.
To conclude, although there is a belief that following famous people by photographers is good as public can get to know about their lives as they have interested in it. This essay is completely in favor with the view that it is not good to interfere and published celebrity's personal life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The first body paragraph is repetitive, and the second paragraph relies on general assertions rather than specific, well-developed examples. While the prompt is addressed, the arguments lack depth and the explanation of why the public is interested in celebrities is underdeveloped. The conclusion is clear, but the overall response would benefit from more nuanced reasoning to move beyond a basic level of discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, the transition 'To begin with former viewpoint' is grammatically awkward, and the use of 'Morever' (misspelled) and 'But' at the start of sentences feels repetitive. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'this is a good thing', where the antecedent is not perfectly established. The progression of ideas is logical, but the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed due to limited linking vocabulary.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There is frequent repetition of words like 'celebrity', 'photographer', and 'privacy'. Some word choices are unnatural, such as 'popular faces' instead of 'celebrities' or 'public figures', and 'create hype' is slightly informal. There are also errors in word formation, such as 'celebrates' instead of 'celebrities' and 'later view point' instead of 'latter viewpoint'. To achieve a higher band, you should aim to use more sophisticated synonyms and collocations related to the topic of media and privacy.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everyone need privacy'), article usage (e.g., 'follow famous person'), and incorrect prepositional phrases (e.g., 'in favor with'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are sentence fragments, such as 'Where they go and what they do.' While the meaning is usually clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band score.
