Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, number of celebrities have gained fanbase by using their skills. Some people hold the view that famous people should hire profession photographer for their photography, while other believe that audience ought to avoid the photos when they are following them. I support the latter proposition. This essay will discuss both views in details.
First and foremost, celebrities should not waste their finance on photographer. Moreover, hiring professionals is waste of money., As they are require to pay handsome amount of money to specialists for photography. Rather than doing this, they should donate this money to needy people such as poor children, awareness campaigns and so on. As a result, they would achieve a sense of satisfaction. Another point is reading articles and newspapers about famous people is importance before following them. In addition, written reports indicate about their journey and achievements. For example, famous cricketer from India donate his fund to charity many times which was written in one article.
On the other hand, some people claim that the quality of photo is matter to gain popularity. To exemplify, if the captured photo of celebrities is in HD, viewers are motivated to research more about their personal lives. Consequently, they received more likes and comments on their photos. For instance, celebrities spend lots of money on photography to be famous on social media platforms and earn side incomes.
In conclusion, although quality of photo matter for famous people to gain more views, they should focus on assisting poor people and find happiness which should be our motto.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the interpretation of the prompt is slightly flawed. The prompt asks about the ethics of photographers following celebrities, but the essay focuses heavily on whether celebrities should spend money on professional photography. This shift in focus means the core issue—the tension between public interest and privacy—is not fully explored. While the position is clear, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and occasionally drifts away from the central topic. To improve, ensure that the arguments directly address the specific question asked rather than pivoting to financial advice for celebrities.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'First and foremost', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand'. However, the flow is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For instance, the sentence 'Moreover, hiring professionals is waste of money., As they are require to pay...' contains punctuation errors that disrupt the reading flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the connection between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother. While the overall structure is present, the use of cohesive devices is not always flexible or accurate, which limits the score.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of unnatural word choices, such as 'finance' instead of 'money' or 'funds', and 'importance' used as a noun where an adjective like 'important' was needed. Phrases like 'captured photo of celebrities is in HD' are somewhat simplistic. While the meaning is generally clear, the student relies on a limited range of vocabulary and struggles with collocations. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring words are used in their correct grammatical form.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'number of celebrities have', 'they are require'), article usage (e.g., 'hire profession photographer'), and punctuation errors, such as the unnecessary period after 'money'. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization, and practice using complex sentences with more precision.
