Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the 'positive lessons' from celebrities is a bit vague and lacks a concrete, real-world example of how a specific celebrity's life story provides a lesson. The second paragraph regarding the safety of families is more relevant but could be expanded with more depth. The conclusion is brief and summarizes the main points, but the overall development of the arguments remains at a basic level, preventing a higher score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression from the introduction to the two body paragraphs and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'On the one hand, according to people who support the former view is that...' which contains a grammatical error that disrupts the flow. Referencing is generally clear, but the transition between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall coherence of the arguments.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward word choices, such as 'others refuge that notion' (should be 'refute') and 'social media operators' (likely meaning 'influencers' or 'paparazzi'). The repetition of words like 'learn' and 'lives' limits the lexical variety. While the meaning is clear throughout, the lack of sophisticated or idiomatic language keeps the score in the mid-range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Examples include 'it has been observer' (observed), 'this action would be assist them' (would assist), and 'this could be a stressful' (could be stressful). Subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency are areas that need significant improvement. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band score.
