Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern world, Celebrities are followed by paparazzi's to all the places they go to capture photographs. A few group of individuals believe that it is a good thing as their fans want to know about them on the other hand others believe photographers are doing wrong. This essay will discuss both views additionally, to some extent I incline towards the first group of people.
Fame means popularity and every celebrity wants attention. In order to be in the headlines of all media most famous people call professional photographers intentionally at first but when the become so much successful that they will have a very large fan base. These people are early waiting for their news to see how they dress where they go to for gym, or a restaurant as they are role model for them. for example paparazzi updates all their pictures on news channels and social media. Followers of the artists like their news and post on internet. Photographers are just doing their job just as a actor who is acting but nothing wrong.
Arguably, a group of community thinks that paparazzi's are wrong as they are invading privacy. To some extent I agree as every it is a a basic right to have a personal life however, celebrities themselves want their life to be a social active so that they are still present in the lam-light even though they are not doing any movies or series for instance. At the end of the day, there is no fault of photographers as they are doing every thing for livelihood.
In conclusion, from my perspective taking pictures of famous people by photographers every where might be helpful for them to have a successful career with popularity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that celebrities want attention and photographers are doing their jobs, the arguments could be expanded with more depth or nuanced examples. The conclusion is a bit brief and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more thorough exploration of the 'why' behind the arguments, rather than just stating them. The position is clear throughout, but the supporting evidence is somewhat repetitive.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'In this modern world,' 'on the other hand,' and 'In conclusion.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'additionally, to some extent I incline towards.' The transition between ideas within paragraphs could be smoother. For instance, the jump from discussing celebrities wanting fame to the role of photographers is a bit abrupt. Improving the variety and natural flow of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to discuss the topic, using terms like 'paparazzi,' 'role model,' 'invading privacy,' and 'livelihood.' However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'social active' instead of 'socially active' and 'lam-light' instead of 'limelight.' Additionally, there are minor errors in pluralization, such as 'paparazzi's' (paparazzi is already plural). To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that less common vocabulary is used accurately in the correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('when the become so much successful'), article usage ('a actor'), and punctuation. Some sentences are run-on or lack necessary commas, which affects readability. To improve, pay closer attention to basic sentence construction and proofread for common errors like missing articles or incorrect verb forms. Increasing the variety of complex structures while maintaining accuracy will help you achieve a higher score.
