Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent times, public figures are always followed by expertise photographers to film them. A few individuals enjoy looking at their pictures since some are interested to follow them as their role models. However, others argue against this tendency due to several reasons. This essay will discuss both the view points and elucidate more details in the below paragraphs.
To begin with, some who are more keen to watch the celebrity’s in real and take pictures with them to feel more ecstatic since they can flaunt in front of the society, friends and relatives, as they follow them as their role model and wanted to copy their overall looks, living habits and also certain social benefits which they offer to society, in terms of, humanity and curtesy. Therefore, some individuals support this establishment.
However, other school of thought believe that this behaviour is not appreciated because they feel that famous people also have their own preference to visit and enjoy like other normal person and they should have given freedom to explore and experience the place or culture without any distraction and complication. For example, when Global star Ram Charan visited Taj Mahal with his wife last year July was seriously injured by the other public due to the crowd and rushing to take the pictures of the famous star.
To conclude, although, some support the former notion because they follow them as their role model but I personally believe that these people also need freedom to walk freely to all the places and explore their preferences.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the first body paragraph attempts to explain why people enjoy celebrity photos but becomes repetitive and slightly unclear when discussing 'social benefits' and 'humanity and curtesy'. The second body paragraph provides a relevant example, but the explanation of the opposing view could be more nuanced. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that each point is fully extended with clear, logical reasoning rather than listing several loosely connected ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'However', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'elucidate more details in the below paragraphs'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear; for example, the phrase 'some who are more keen' lacks a clear subject. Improving the flow between sentences and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors. Phrases like 'expertise photographers' (should be 'professional photographers') and 'curtesy' (spelling error for 'courtesy') detract from the quality. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, such as 'public figures' and 'celebrity', the range is somewhat limited. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring accurate spelling. Avoid informal phrasing like 'flaunt in front of the society' and aim for more academic alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'other school of thought believe'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'was seriously injured by the other public'). The sentence structure in the second paragraph is particularly long and convoluted, making it difficult to follow the intended meaning. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
