Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's society, celebrities are getting attention from any local photographers anywhere they go. Some individuals believe that, it has a positive impact as normal people are always want to know about their lives. While, other humans say that photographers should not follow popular people.
Firstly, Social media has become powerful tool for each and every person across the world. Famous people are always in the news, weather it is good or bad. The reason behind why people are involving in their life is that, they are following their favorite personality. in other words, they are trying to observe their lifestyle such as clothes, shoes, watch and so on. Secondly, Local civilian wants to know each and every details of their superstar to get notify, so that later on they will come to know any special movies or songs, which are going to release.
However, there are several people, who think that cameraman may not stick to any famous person wherever they go. There are few negative impact as well. Popular person is never going to be well behave every time, in recent surveys, Celebrity gets offend very easily, while they have been asked some random questions by snappers. Moreover, It gets so overcrowd, when any celebrity arrive at any particular place, which makes so overwhelming for local businesses. It can also become huge problem for local visitors to park their
vehicles.
In summary, every topic has pros and cons. In my opinion, professional cameraman should go and take pictures and videos of celebrity, in order to get notifications to local people of their favorite characters, and young generation can also follow and get to know their lifestyle, which gives them motivation.
On the other hand, every problem can be solved, if cameraman follows the rules and celebrities implement some patience.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding celebrities' behavior is vague, and the point about local businesses is not fully explained. While the position is consistent, the supporting arguments lack depth and specific examples, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band. The conclusion effectively summarizes the main points and reiterates the writer's stance, ensuring the task requirements are met.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'However', and 'In summary', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'While, other humans say'. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother. Despite these minor issues, the overall progression of ideas is logical and easy to follow throughout the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. The student relies on basic terms like 'famous people', 'good thing', and 'bad'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'cameraman' (which usually refers to a film crew member rather than a paparazzi photographer) and 'get notify'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or sophisticated collocations that would demonstrate a higher level of language control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' is often missing), subject-verb agreement ('Local civilian wants'), and punctuation (misuse of commas). For instance, 'the public are always want to know' is grammatically incorrect. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. A wider range of error-free complex structures is needed to achieve a higher band score.
