Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, reaching only 136 words. This failure to meet the minimum length requirement severely limits the development of ideas. While the prompt asks for a discussion of both views and a personal opinion, the essay is incomplete and cuts off abruptly mid-sentence. The arguments presented are underdeveloped and lack the necessary depth or supporting examples required for a higher band. Because the task is not fully addressed due to the length and incomplete nature of the response, it falls into the lower band range.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay attempts to use paragraphing and some cohesive devices, such as 'First and foremost' and 'Secondly'. However, the logical progression is hindered by the incomplete nature of the text. The introduction is somewhat confusing due to awkward phrasing like 'At the outside of the new millennium'. The lack of a conclusion and the abrupt ending make it difficult to follow the overall structure. Cohesive devices are used in a somewhat mechanical way, and the flow of ideas is interrupted by the unfinished sentences.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often used incorrectly. Phrases such as 'paparazzi is clicked photos' and 'concern conclusion' demonstrate a lack of control over word choice and collocation. There is an attempt to use more formal language, but it often results in unnatural phrasing, such as 'I am in harmony with the principal concept'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas clearly, and there are frequent errors in word formation and usage that occasionally impede the reader's understanding.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The grammatical range is very limited, consisting mostly of simple sentence structures with frequent errors. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement, such as 'paparazzi is clicked' and 'political persons is run there county's economy'. Punctuation is also problematic, with a lack of commas to separate clauses, which makes the text difficult to parse. The errors are frequent and pervasive throughout the short text, often causing confusion for the reader regarding the intended meaning.
