Student answer (Band 6.0)
These days, it is more comman for celebrities to get photographed by papparazzi's. Some argued that, it is acceptable, because fans are attracted towards their favourite celebs lifestyle, and often motivate by their fashion and works in society. Whereas, other believes, breach in privacy often cause stress and security issues in famous people lives. I support the latter claim and I will discuss both side in this essay.
In addition, people who supports the claim stats, fans and individuals who follows the life of famous personality, like to persude same in their life such as fashion brands and their good work in society for instance, charity. For example, My sister-in-law is big fan of Bollywood star Salman Khan, and she frequently buy clothes from his brand and follow his fashion style. Not only that, but she also support and funds to his charity foundation.
On the other hand, breaking the line of privacy often create a chaos in celebs lives. Issues like anxiety and security occurs as they get often harrased by paps in order to get candid picture or to get some spicy headlines for their business. Princess Diana's accident is the biggest example of this claim; due to the high speed chase of paps to get pictures, turned into horrific accident and lead to the death of the princess. Another example is the actor Tobey Maguire's viral clip which he got offended and angry on papparazzi's as he was driving car and unable to see the road because of continue flashlights of camera.
To sum up, both side has it's merit and reasoning for capturing celebs in camera and not to follow them; but, I strongly agree that no one should be allowed to corss the limit as it can lead to difficult situations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant and supported with examples, such as the mention of Princess Diana and the actor Tobey Maguire. However, the development of the first viewpoint is slightly less detailed than the second. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that the arguments for both sides are balanced in terms of depth and analytical quality, and avoid minor inaccuracies in the presentation of the arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'In addition', 'On the other hand', and 'To sum up', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and punctuation, such as the misuse of apostrophes (e.g., 'papparazzi's', 'celebs lives'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'candid picture', 'security issues', and 'breach in privacy'. However, there are several spelling errors ('comman', 'papparazzi', 'persude') and some awkward word choices or collocations, such as 'breaking the line of privacy' instead of 'invading privacy'. The use of 'paps' is informal and should be avoided in an academic essay. Improving spelling and using more formal, precise terminology would enhance this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('other believes', 'people who supports', 'both side has') and the incorrect use of apostrophes for plurals. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. While the writer attempts complex structures, these are often marred by errors. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that plural nouns do not contain unnecessary apostrophes.
