Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this contemporary world celebrities play a vital role in ordinary people's lives. Although some people believe that notable people are getting captured by professional cameramen regardless of specific place, whereas others believe that this trend is considerably wrong. Thus, this essay will discuss both the views with relevant examples and justifications in the forthcoming paragraphs.

The first and foremost reason to capture well-known people is that to get maximum amount of news about what is going on in that person's life. For example, if a celebrity who is showing up at airport, pictures might be able to demonstrate that where they are travelling and what is the reason behind their trip. In addition, photos of famous individuls could be incredible in terms of knowing new trendy fashion looks. Therefore, cameramen can actually spread the photos of either casual or professional looks by which community may follow their fashion choices.

On the other hand, Several famous people who always consider their life private rather than spreading significant information via Photographs taken by professional person. To illustrate, a famous cricketer Virat is one of them.

I believe that a huge crowd of cameraman becomes available by expected spotting place of notable individuals. Owing to this crowd, celebrities, eventually, become distracted from their real work and fall behind their schedule.

In conclusion, pictures are captured by professional person for not only to obtain real life update from famous people but also follow their fashion sense. However, this trend is worst for those who do not want to share their life movement, and in my prospective it becomes reason for wasting precious time of famous person.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The essay addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph is reasonably well-supported, but the second body paragraph regarding the negative impact is quite brief and lacks depth. The example of the cricketer is mentioned but not fully explained or integrated into the argument. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and ensure that your personal opinion is more clearly integrated throughout the essay rather than just appearing in the final paragraph.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition', 'On the other hand', and 'To illustrate'. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as the opening sentence structure which contains a grammatical error ('Although... whereas...'). Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear; for instance, the connection between the 'huge crowd' and the 'expected spotting place' could be more smoothly articulated. Improving the variety and natural flow of your linking words would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary world', 'notable individuals', and 'distracted'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'getting captured by professional cameramen' (should be 'photographed') and 'worst for those' (should be 'detrimental'). Some phrases are repetitive, and the use of 'in my prospective' is an incorrect usage of the word 'perspective'. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary to express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow, such as the misuse of 'although' and 'whereas' in the same sentence, and subject-verb agreement issues like 'a huge crowd of cameraman becomes'. Punctuation is generally functional, but there are errors in article usage and prepositional phrases. To achieve a higher band, you need to increase the frequency of error-free sentences and ensure that your complex structures are grammatically accurate.
