Student answer (Band 5.0)
Photography plays a important role in everyone's life. In this modern era the famous actors and singers are captured by professional photographers. Many people believe this is a good thing because people are interested in them while other think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. So, in upcoming paragraphs I am going to discuss on both viewpoint and going to give my own opinion.
To begin with , many people think that famous people are photographed by professional cameraman because many fans watch them . for example, Karan Aujla is a famous singer and had his own personal famous world photographer so, they can record proper song quality video and photos as many people watch them in million as a famous singer . it is important to make good quality stuff so they can show to their fans.
while, many people have another opinion, that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. For example, many people on social media have seen that they want to be captured by famous photographer but they refuse because main reason is they have been paid in lakh for a day for normal photos and if they agrees that amount for photography is to high normal people cannot afford that price.
In conclusion, I think from my perspective that, its not wrong that famous people are captured my good photographer but they should also think about the normal people who want to be captured by them. So, they should also think about the whole community.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views and provides an opinion, but the development is weak. The arguments are somewhat disjointed and do not fully explore the implications of the topic. For instance, the second paragraph focuses on the technical quality of photos rather than the ethical debate regarding privacy or public interest. The third paragraph is confusing, as it shifts the focus to the cost of hiring photographers rather than the act of paparazzi following celebrities. The opinion in the conclusion is also slightly unclear, as it suggests photographers should consider 'the whole community' without explaining how this relates to the initial prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often interrupted by unclear transitions and awkward phrasing. While some cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with' and 'In conclusion', they are sometimes used mechanically. The referencing is occasionally confusing, particularly in the third paragraph where the subject of 'they' (photographers vs. celebrities) becomes ambiguous. The flow between sentences is often disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's line of reasoning throughout the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. There are several instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'good quality stuff' and 'captured by famous photographer'. The use of 'lakh' is a regional term that may not be understood in an international context, and the phrasing 'they have been paid in lakh' is grammatically and lexically awkward. To improve, you should aim for a wider range of vocabulary related to media, privacy, and public interest, and focus on using words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including missing articles ('a important role'), subject-verb agreement issues ('other think'), and incorrect verb forms ('if they agrees'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often marred by errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. The sentence structures are generally simple, and the lack of control over basic grammar significantly limits the clarity of the message.
