Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years, famous people have been photographed almost everywhere they go. while some individuals believe this is acceptable because of public interest and intensive growth, I believe that this disturb their privacy.
On the one hand, celebrities are role model for their fans, attracting them to know more about their lifestyle, daily routines and fashion interests, by which they may gain inspiration and implement their dos and don'ts in their personal life. While taking photographs, professional photographs increase their revenue when they upload them on social media platforms, newspapers and magazines. This helps celebrities to gain popularity worldwide. For instance, most famous personalities are getting more effective projects and events due to their attractive photographs. Therefore, public and media make a person the most popular in whole over the world.
On the other hand, professional photographs should not constantly follow famous people because it invasions their privacy. In other words, although media is as essential part of making anyone more special than others, some celebrities want to keep their personal and professional life separate and do not admire to show it in this public. To exemplify, the tribune newspaper mostly publish personal movements of celebrities, which they spend with their family in order to gain fame and increase sale; this is considered inappropriate and ineffective. As a result, these arrangements gives them unnecessary depression of being highlight in the public.
In conclusion, even though public interest is precisely decent to follow famous personalities for their personal and professional reasons, I think they give them privacy for enjoying their personal life instead of giving them stress and anxiety to loss their freedom.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of celebrities as influencers and the ethical concerns regarding privacy. However, some arguments are slightly under-developed; for instance, the point about 'intensive growth' in the introduction is vague, and the link between professional photography and 'effective projects' could be explained with more clarity. The position is consistent throughout, and the conclusion effectively summarizes the writer's stance. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more specific, logical reasoning rather than relying on general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. The use of cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' helps guide the reader through the argument. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the phrase 'this disturb their privacy' in the introduction, where 'this' lacks a clear antecedent. Additionally, the flow between sentences within paragraphs could be smoother to improve the overall logical progression. Overall, the structure is logical and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'implement,' 'inappropriate,' and 'ineffective.' However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'it invasions their privacy' (should be 'invades') and 'precisely decent' (which is an unnatural collocation). Some phrasing is also repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'famous people' and 'personal life.' Improving precision and collocation would significantly enhance the quality of the writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('these arrangements gives them') and incorrect verb forms ('do not admire to show it'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in sentence construction. While the meaning is always clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly verb tenses and pluralization, would be beneficial.
