Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, famous people are photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go. This has attracted considerable viewpoint worldwide. Although opinions differ on this statement, I firmly believe that it is a good thing because people are interested in their lives. This essay will discuss the possible reason behind it before the conclusion.
On the one hand, people may think that this is a good thing because the public tries to follow their way of living life in their lives. There is a significant advantage to following the famous people. People can learn from the famous people's lives; they get inspired by their lives. Moreover, they also found some positive characteristics that will be helpful in their future. For instance, actor Akshay Kumar has always shown their daily routine life through the professional photographers. He shares their point of view regarding the fitness of the person, like how they can enhance their physical health without affecting their tight schedule.
On the other hand, some people may think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. This is because they want to keep their personal life very private. They usually believe that if they disclose their strategy to be a famous person, then it might be degraded after a few times. Due to these consequences, they would like to keep all their details confidential. They don't want to be exposed through social media. They received some negative feedback from others regarding the topis.
In conclusion, although famous people are photographed by professional photographers everywhere they go, it creates some positive messages for society. So, I believe that it should be in a controlled manner without affecting too much of an individual's personal life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the benefits of celebrity photography is repetitive, focusing mainly on 'inspiration' without exploring other facets. The opposing view is also slightly underdeveloped, relying on vague statements like 'disclose their strategy' rather than discussing the ethical implications of privacy or the impact of paparazzi culture. To improve, you should provide more specific, nuanced examples and ensure that each paragraph fully explores the implications of the points raised rather than repeating similar ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' effectively to signal shifts in the argument. However, some transitions between sentences within paragraphs feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'they' without clear antecedents. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that referencing is precise would help the flow of the essay feel more natural and sophisticated.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'confidential', 'exposed', and 'positive characteristics'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'attracted considerable viewpoint' (should be 'attention') and 'degraded after a few times' (should be 'diminished' or 'lost its value'). Additionally, the phrase 'daily routine life' is redundant. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to media, privacy, and public interest.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical inaccuracies. For example, 'the public are interested' (subject-verb agreement), 'shown their daily routine life' (incorrect pronoun usage), and 'regarding the topis' (spelling error). There are also issues with article usage and prepositional phrases. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, pronoun consistency, and proofreading for minor slips in spelling and word form.
