Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is trending now that celebrities are being followed by paparazzi to every place wherever they go. One section of the society finds it interesting, as they want to know about their favorite actor's life, whereas other sections say that it is not a good idea to record them every time. This essay will discuss both perspectives, and I strongly agree that the famous personalities should not be followed and click their pictures.
One of the most pivotal reasons to follow the celebrities is that they might play the role of an idol for someone. As young people are following them on various social network platforms where these photographers post their pictures or videos, from which youth get motivation and follow their good deeds. Another reason is they set some good examples for the public to follow. Some of the persons are presenting their nations either by playing in sports or acting in movies. To take an example, most of the adults have joined a gym and maintain their health because they all have been inspired by such personalities as Tom Cruise or Ronaldo.
However, although following famous personalities may set an example for others, this brings in a lot of difficulties for famous people. The foremost problem they face is exposing their personal life. It has been seen many times that they are enjoying their personal time with their families and friends when some cameraman or reporter tries to click their pictures with out their consent. They are not comfortable disclosing their close-knit relationships. As a result, it distroys their personal time.
To conclude, although following famous personalities might drive an urge in the young generation to follow their paths, I firmly agree that clicking their pictures without their consent might give them some trouble, such as exposing their personal life. So, it is better to let them live their life and keep it private.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The essay addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of celebrities as idols and the issue of privacy. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding celebrities as 'idols' is a bit repetitive, and the discussion on privacy could be more deeply explored with more specific consequences. The position is consistent throughout the essay, meeting the requirements for a Band 6.5 or 7.0, but it lacks the depth of analysis required for a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'One of the most pivotal reasons', 'Another reason', and 'However' are used to guide the reader. While the flow is generally smooth, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there is occasional awkwardness in phrasing, such as 'One section of the society finds it interesting'. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task. You use some good collocations like 'close-knit relationships' and 'pivotal reasons'. However, there are some inaccuracies and slightly unnatural word choices, such as 'click their pictures' (instead of 'take photographs') and 'distroys' (spelling error). The vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, but it lacks the sophistication and precision required for higher bands. Expanding your range of topic-specific vocabulary related to media and privacy would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is always clear, there are several grammatical errors, such as 'famous personalities should not be followed and click their pictures' (parallelism issue) and 'Some of the persons' (unnatural phrasing). There are also minor punctuation and spelling errors, such as 'distroys'. The majority of your sentences are understandable, but the frequency of these small errors prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and more precise sentence construction will help improve your accuracy.
