Student answer (Band 6.0)

In this contemporary era, photographs pays a vital role in everyone's life because it makes our life colourful and remarkable memories. It is believe by some people that famous celebrities give importance to click photographs my professional photo shoots whenver they visit beautiful places and uploaded that photos on social media bevcause people love to know about what is going in their lives, while others think that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. Here I would shed some light on both view points aong with my own opinion in the upcoming paragraphs.

On the one hand, there are many reasons why famous celebrities click photos my famous photoshoots. First and foremost one is, to fulfill the demand of people. To be more clear, nowadays people has a lot of interest in the lives of celebrities so they always demand to look them in different ways . For example - the famous celebrity named Nimrat Khaira is very famous on Instagram because of her style and simplicity due to this people always comments on her photos, videos related to click photos on suggested spots. Hence, when celebrities read pubic comments they do these things to fulfill the demand of people to make them happy and attractive. Another reason is to earn name and fame in society. To explain it more, when professonal photographers click the photos of celebrities they make it attractive my doing professonal editing with cameras along proper flashing process due to this more and more people share these photos with each other and save them to click the photo in same poze. As a result, celebrities earn more followers with the support of people which help them to become famous in the society.

On the other hand, there are also some reasons why few people believe that photographers are wrong to follow famous people. Firstly , they force the celebrity to click the photo in the way how they want due to this sometimes celebrities have to do pozes in which they show their whole figure in front of public due to this people enjoy these things while make fun of it and put bad comments in the comment sections. So, it is not good to bring photographer everywhere.

In my opinion, I think everyone has their own life and all have right to do whatever they want to do in their life even It depend on thinking how we take the things so no one has any right to judge others related to their figure, clothers and even living standard. Hence, taking interest in others life is good but without knowing them judgement is not good.

In conclusion, although some photographers force celebrities to do naked poses to do to show photos to public but its their own private life so no one has right to judge and teach them what to do.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat inconsistent. While the first body paragraph attempts to explain the public's interest in celebrities, the reasoning is repetitive and relies on a specific example that does not fully support the broader argument about professional photography. The second body paragraph regarding the negative aspects of photography is underdeveloped and slightly off-topic, focusing on 'naked poses' and 'figure' rather than the broader issue of privacy or harassment. To improve, ensure that each point is logically extended and directly addresses the prompt's core tension between public interest and personal privacy.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is disrupted by awkward phrasing or repetitive sentence structures. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the second body paragraph where the connection between the photographer's actions and the public's reaction is not fully articulated. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and sophistication required for higher bands. There are frequent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'click photographs my professional photo shoots' (instead of 'have professional photoshoots') and 'do pozes' (instead of 'pose'). The student relies on a limited range of vocabulary, often repeating words like 'famous', 'people', and 'photos'. To achieve a higher score, the student should focus on using more precise terminology related to the topic, such as 'paparazzi', 'public scrutiny', 'invasion of privacy', or 'commercial exploitation', and work on improving spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('photographs pays', 'people has'), incorrect verb forms ('It is believe'), and awkward sentence construction. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence structure impede the flow and demonstrate a lack of control over complex forms. Focusing on subject-verb agreement, consistent verb tenses, and proofreading for basic mechanical errors would significantly improve the accuracy of the writing.
