Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, celebrities are often considered role model, particularly by younger generations. So, no matter where they go professional photographers want to capture them. Some people believe that this is good because public are interested in their lives, whereas others think that it is wrong to follow them everywhere. I will discuss both views in upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, there are numerous reasons why individuals think it is good to photographer famous people everywhere. First and foremost, they are role models for individuals, so they like to know all updates about their life and also want to follow them and want to be successful in their life. For example, there is a famous cricketer Virat Kohli, who inspired millions of people by their work and dedication. Secondly, people attract toward there personality and hard work, so they want to see their every movement which gives them motivation and encouragement to do something in their life.
On the other hand, people who think that photographers are wrong to follow celebrities have their own reasons. Firstly, famous people also have their own life, and they also want to spend some quality time with their family and friends. For example, recently the news spared online famous film star photographs at local store with someone, which have too many negative reviews. Moreover, sometime celebrities also didn't have time to get photographs they want to enjoy their private occasions and factions freely.
In conclusion, no doubt who admire celebrity they want to know every single thing about their life, but famous people also have their own life and family where they want some private space, so according to me, it is not a good idea to photograph them everywhere.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task, including both viewpoints and a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of celebrities as motivators versus the need for personal privacy. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the example of the cricketer is mentioned but not fully linked to the argument about why constant photography is 'good'. The conclusion is clear, but the supporting arguments could be extended with more depth to reach a higher band. The position is consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'First and foremost', 'Secondly', and 'On the other hand'. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or repetitive. The referencing is generally clear, though there are minor issues with flow between sentences. Overall, the progression of ideas is easy to follow, and the paragraphing is appropriate for the task.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several word-choice errors, such as 'photographer' used as a verb instead of 'photograph', 'spared' instead of 'spread', and 'factions' instead of 'functions'. While the meaning is generally clear, these inaccuracies prevent the response from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring that word forms (e.g., noun vs. verb) are used correctly in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing articles ('the public', 'a famous cricketer'), subject-verb agreement issues ('celebrities are often considered role model'), and incorrect verb forms ('celebrities also didn't have time'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. Increasing the variety of complex structures and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would significantly improve the score.
