Student answer (Band 6.0)

There is an ongoing debate about public figures they should be captured or not. Some people believe that it is a best way to know about their lifestyles. Whereas others argue that photographers should not follow celebrities. Although both views have their merits, I believe in the latter view.

Examining the former view the primary argument supporter would put forward is that fans are desire to get more information regarding their favourite people. This is because they want to relate similar interest, besides this this provides them emotion of more stronger bonding to inspire them. As a result, followers immitate their style, way of communication, dressing, and habbits to follow. For instance, In India, people are fan of shahrukh khan, who is superstar of bollywood, If he goes to the gym their followers adapt the same interest to feel connected with him.

On the contrary those in favour of latter opinion have their own arguments. To begin with, they claim that being a celebrities does not mean have no personal life. Because everyone require privacy in their life. Although, it is a part of the career captured by paparazzi sometimes, they wants to spend their quality time with their family. Therefore, media should be take permission before taking their photographs as everyone has privacy concerns. For instance, public figures who just get a free from one year shooting may get a quality time with their family after one year and that time if media starting to take a photo of them they will feel no freedom.

To conclude, there is differing arguments about celebrities taking photos, a group of individuals believe in to follow them for such a reason like relate their interest, while other believe that like eveyone else they have right to have privacy and freedom I believe that well-known people should have choice when to get captured.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both sides of the argument and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the public's desire for connection and the celebrities' right to privacy. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the explanation of why fans follow celebrities could be more nuanced, and the example regarding the Bollywood actor is a bit simplistic. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your arguments with more sophisticated reasoning rather than just stating the points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the contrary', and 'To conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'besides this this provides them emotion of more stronger bonding'. Additionally, some sentences are disjointed, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, which affects the flow. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, but it is somewhat limited and repetitive. There are several instances of awkward word choices or incorrect collocations, such as 'provide them emotion of more stronger bonding' and 'get a free from one year shooting'. You also have some spelling errors like 'immitate' and 'habbits'. To improve, focus on learning more precise collocations and synonyms for common words to avoid repetition and enhance the sophistication of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('media should be take permission'), incorrect verb forms ('fans are desire to get'), and awkward phrasing ('there is differing arguments'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles and incorrect verb tenses.
