Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years, popular personalities have been photographed by expert photographers at all the places they go. Some people believe that it is a positive thing since public is interested in their lives, whereas others think that this trend has negative effect on famoun people's lives. I personally believe that a balance approach is needed in this matter.
On one hand, well-known people are role model for our society. So, common people are so interested in their daily lives, their living styles, their daily routine, and all of their updates about events. For example, people in India are so interested in the lifestyle of Virat Kohli, a famous cricketer. The media is the only way to reach out to them. Their fans feel motivated and encouraged when they see their favourite person's achievements as well as their day-to-day hard work for those victories.
On the other hand, popular personalities also have their own personal life. Like everyone else, they also want to have some privacy to enjoy their life with their loved ones. If they are always followed by paparazzi, it might create tension with their families. Moreover, they also have the right to privacy. Sometimes they also need space from the cameras. For Instance, Actresses always has to dress up in presentable clothes because everyone wants to see them in that kind of clothing. But sometimes it is so overwhelming for them. They might want to wear comfortable clothing to go outside.
I my opinion, their should be a balanced approach for this problem. Famous people also get more popularity by professional photography captured by those paparazzi. However, there are some times when they need privacy, at that times photographers need to respect their rights of privace and give them space.
To conclude, it is evident that the unrestricted use of anything is dangerous. Therefore, there should be limitations for the photography of those famous people's lives too.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the role of celebrities as motivators and the human need for privacy. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about celebrities needing to dress up is a bit narrow and could have been expanded to discuss the broader psychological impact of constant surveillance. The position is consistent throughout, but the conclusion is slightly repetitive. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more depth and nuance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two opposing views. Cohesive devices such as 'On one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'To conclude' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some minor issues with cohesion; for example, the transition between the idea of celebrities as role models and the example of Virat Kohli is a bit abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is slightly mechanical. Overall, the flow of ideas is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'unrestricted' and 'overwhelming.' However, there are several spelling errors ('famoun', 'privace') and some awkward collocations, such as 'a balance approach' instead of 'a balanced approach.' The range is sufficient to convey meaning, but more precise and varied vocabulary would be needed for a higher score. The repetition of words like 'famous' and 'people' also limits the lexical variety.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the public is', 'a balanced approach'), subject-verb agreement ('Actresses always has to', 'their should be'), and word forms ('privace'). These errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede communication. To improve, the student should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement throughout the text.
