Student answer (Band 6.5)
These days, photographers click the picture of the famous actors and artists everywhere they go. It is believed by some people that everyone is interested in their lives, so this is a good things but others disagree. I will discuss both these views before I put forth my opinion.
On the one hand, there are lots of advantages of photographing the well-known people. Firstly, it motivates people to progress in their life. For example, by seeing the luxurious and healthy lifestyle of these people, everyone starts working hard to achieve that life one day. Moreover, people tend to follow their role model. For example, when people see Virat Kohli working out int the gym at the age of 50, lots of youngsters started gym to be like their idol. Lastly, it is a good thing for creators on social media platforms as they earn really good amount of money by making reels and posting the pictures of famous people.
On the other hand, some people believe that photographers are wrong as they disturb the privacy of the actors and artists. As seen on Instagram or Facebook, even if actor visits a restaurant with their family members, photographers start taking picture of them, so they can not enjoy their personal life because of that. Furthermore, it is wrong to take the picture of all of the famous people as some people might discourage others like adult stars or alcohol addict actors.
To conclude, I believe that although pictures of the famous people motivates others to do better in their life and lets earn some money too, photographers should maintain the privacy of them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. The ideas are relevant, such as the motivational aspect of celebrities and the privacy concerns. However, some arguments are slightly under-developed or rely on generalizations. For instance, the point about 'alcohol addict actors' is somewhat unclear and lacks sufficient explanation to support the argument effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is fully explored with more nuanced reasoning rather than listing several disparate ideas. Overall, the position is consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader through the argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the benefits of social media creators and the privacy argument in the second paragraph is a bit abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and the central topic of each paragraph is clear.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts to use less common vocabulary, but some word choices are slightly unnatural or imprecise, such as 'click the picture' instead of 'take photographs' or 'alcohol addict actors' instead of 'actors struggling with substance abuse'. Spelling is generally accurate, but there are minor collocation issues. To improve, focus on learning more sophisticated collocations and idiomatic expressions related to the topic of media and privacy to enhance the precision of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'good things' (should be 'good thing'), 'working out int the gym' (typo), and 'started gym' (should be 'started going to the gym'). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and pluralization, such as 'photographing the well-known people' and 'take the picture of all of the famous people'. These errors do not impede communication, but they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Increasing the variety of complex structures while ensuring accuracy is key.
