Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent times, celebrities and influencers are actively filmed by professional photographers, including journalists. Some people believe that this is a good thing, as the public is very enthusiastic about their lives, whereas others argue that it is illegal to follow people who are famous and disturb their privacy. This essay will discuss both perspectives before explaining why I agree with the other set of people who assert that it is completely wrong.
Supporters of the first view argue that, it is extremely important as it motivates and provides various benefits to the common people. These days, many individuals are interested in learning about the celebrity lifestyles because they want to follow them and achieve heights in their career, as they did in their fields. Additionally, some people use these pictures to promote their business such as we usually see the influencers images before a clothing store to attract the customers. For instance, Many people in India started playing cricket after hearing and knowing more about the lifestyle and motivational journeys of famous cricketers Sachin and Dhoni. Ultimately, they consider these celebrities as their role models and start achieving the things in their life. Therefore, Individuals believe that it is a positive thing as it helps them to stay close and connected with their admired ones.
On the other hand, those who support the second view including myself think that, it is a way of interrupting their private time without consent. It is extremely important to respect and protect the privacy of an individual irrespective of their fame and status. By taking such photos it not only disrupts their privacy but it also creates a considerable inconvenience to the celebrities. A good example is, in India one of the famous cinema actor was stopped my media and public for pictures and updates while travelling to the hospital to see his wife who is in emergency. Consequently, this eliminates the proper personal time in their lives because now everything is public to entertain their followers. As a result, some individuals think that every individual as their own time and it should be respected accordingly.
In conclusion, although it is beneficial from some audience. I believe that the demerits of this view are on the higher side as it mainly impacts their privacy and peace along with their personal family time..

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant and generally well-supported with examples, such as the mention of Indian cricketers to illustrate the positive view and the anecdote about a cinema actor to support the negative view. However, the development of the first viewpoint is slightly repetitive, and the conclusion is a bit brief. To reach a higher band, ensure that the arguments are more deeply explored rather than just stated, and provide a more comprehensive summary of the main points in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'Additionally', 'On the other hand', and 'Consequently' are used to link ideas. However, there are some minor issues with mechanical cohesion, such as the awkward phrasing in 'as we usually see the influencers images' and the slightly disjointed transition in the final paragraph. The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to avoid a repetitive structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use less common items like 'enthusiastic', 'inconvenience', and 'demerits'. However, there are some inaccuracies in collocation and word choice, such as 'achieve heights in their career' (better: 'reach the pinnacle of their careers') and 'stopped my media' (should be 'by'). Some phrasing is slightly unnatural, such as 'every individual as their own time'. Expanding the range of vocabulary to include more precise collocations would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. For example, there are comma splices and unnecessary commas, such as 'argue that, it is' and 'a good example is, in India'. Subject-verb agreement issues appear occasionally, such as 'every individual as their own time'. While these errors do not impede communication, they are persistent enough to prevent a higher band. Focusing on sentence boundary punctuation and consistent verb agreement will help improve accuracy.
