Student answer (Band 6.0)
In current time, professional photographers are always following famous people everywhere just to take there photos. Other says this is a great thing because the public are interested to know more about their lives, and some people think that following famous people is not ideal because they supposed to have there own private life.
In my perspective, having a private life and being a famous person supposed to be balanced and have boundaries. Photographers supposed to know when or where to take a photos to prevent the harassment feel or being observe, However if the photographers do not have boundaries, it can cause trauma for some artist or well known personnel.
In my experience, here are the 2 reasons why we need to have a boundaries and not to follow famous people all the time. First, Having a boundaries can famous people's mental health, by not following them all around. They should feel safe and have there own personal life. It is normal for people not to share everything, doing something personal supposed to be private such as eating in a restaurant, talking to someone they know and watching movies in a cinema. They supposed to feel comfortable doing this by not feeling watch. Second, is it is not ideal to follow people whenever they go. Being feeling watch is makes you feel caucious about doing your decision and it makes your decision not genuine.
However, I know people can say it is a good thing that people are interested with there life but I am still standing on my opinion that, it is not appropriate to follow a person whenever they go, to have there own space, not feeling watch and can make good and bad decision without overthinking what will social media can do about it.
Life will make you experience bad and good experiences but it doesn't need to share all of them in the public.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument regarding 'mental health' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or logical consequences. The essay covers all parts of the prompt, but the supporting arguments are somewhat simplistic and rely on general statements rather than well-developed points. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more nuanced reasoning and concrete examples to support your claims.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'First' and 'Second'. There are also issues with referencing; for example, the phrase 'there photos' (should be 'their') and the unclear pronoun usage in 'it is not ideal to follow people whenever they go'. The progression of ideas is sometimes hindered by awkward phrasing, making the flow feel slightly disjointed in places.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are frequent errors in word choice and form, such as 'harassment feel', 'being observe', and 'feeling watch'. These errors occasionally cause the reader to pause. The vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good thing' and 'bad decision'. To improve, you should focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring you use the correct word forms (e.g., 'observed' instead of 'observe').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'photographers supposed to know'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'they supposed to have'), and confusion between 'there' and 'their'. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation detract from the overall quality of the writing. You need to focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like homophones and verb tense consistency.
