Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is a debate over the issue that celebrities are captured by the photographers everywhere even in public or private places. Some people thinks it is a good thing, however, some critics go against this notion. The following paragraphs will elucidate both viewpoints, and my personal perspective.
Celebrities are role models for some people. Even though, skeptics follow their social media to get an update on their lives.
For example, India's one of the famous cricketer Shreyas went on holidays to Bali, and he posted his pictures on his Instagram, so his followers can know his current location, as well as his likes or dislikes. Therefore, this thing can make his followers get familiar with his personality.
On the other side, so critics go against this idea. First and the foremost reason is Privacy. To substantiate this, i will like to quote an epitome, Currently, the crime rate is on peak in the world. When well-established famous person went outside from their home, then some blackmailers keep eye on their social media to get an update about their each minute. When celebrities posted pictures on the social media platforms, they checked and reached their to do some crime. Resulting this, it can make their life in danger.
As per my opinion, famous people should avoid the photographers when they are with their family or with close ones. Although, they want to share their all activities with their fans, but they should give priority to their privacy. Along with this, Photographers should follow their limits, and need to respect their privacy.
To conclude, it is good thing to capture pictures of famous people, but everyone should follow some rules and let be in their limits while taking photographs.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both viewpoints and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The example regarding the cricketer is relevant but lacks depth, and the argument about crime rates, while interesting, is slightly tangential to the core debate about the ethics of photography. The position is clear throughout, but the supporting arguments could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band. The conclusion is a bit brief and could have better summarised the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'For example', 'On the other side', and 'To conclude', though some transitions feel mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'Resulting this'. Referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints, which helps the reader follow the structure of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are attempts to use less common items like 'elucidate', 'substantiate', and 'epitome', though these are sometimes used slightly inaccurately or in a way that feels forced. There are also some minor errors in word choice, such as 'at peak' instead of 'at its peak' and 'reached their' instead of 'reached them'. Overall, the range is sufficient, but more precise and natural collocation would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the photographers'), subject-verb agreement ('Some people thinks'), and preposition usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and misuse of commas. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to basic grammatical accuracy and sentence construction is needed.
