Famous people are always center of attraction due to their achievements. Media and news photographer always run around them to capture their movements. Some people says that it is positive developments as many people are interested to know their life while other argued that photographer should not cross their line and understand the human rights. To begin with, news and media often run after well known people because they have many followers around the world. They often receive positive response from viewers when they capture their private moments. It indeed motivate them to record their personal life. Furthermore, people who wants to achieve similar in life often follow the same footprint. It could be motivating in some of the cases when positive sides are covered.

Conversely, some people who are against of this view have following arguments. They say that it is individuals privacy which should be maintained all the time. Additionally, famous personality may have bad habit such as smoking and drinking which should not be covered as it can have detrimental effects on the society especially when they are followed by underage kids or vulnerable group. Therefore, media and photographer should not make a headline which could impact any particular group on negative ways.

To sum up, media and photographer should record the news which is beneficial to the society. Additionally, interfering in their personal life is breach of privacy which should be avoided all the time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding the 'positive side' of celebrity photography is underdeveloped, relying on general statements rather than specific examples. Similarly, the counter-argument about privacy is mentioned but could be extended with more depth regarding the ethical implications. While the position is clear, the supporting points lack the depth required for a higher band score, as the essay remains quite brief in its exploration of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', 'Conversely', and 'Additionally'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the transition between the idea of celebrities having followers and the idea of people wanting to achieve similar things is slightly abrupt. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the overall progression of ideas could be more sophisticated.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There is some repetition of basic terms like 'photographer', 'media', and 'people'. Some word choices are slightly unnatural, such as 'run around them' instead of 'pursue' or 'hounded by', and 'make a headline' instead of 'sensationalize'. There are also minor collocation errors, such as 'against of this view' (should be 'against this view') and 'impact any particular group on negative ways' (should be 'in a negative way'). To improve, you should aim for more precise, academic vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('photographer have to respect', 'media and photographer should record'), missing articles ('it is individuals privacy'), and incorrect pluralization ('some people says'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate better control over basic grammar, particularly with verb forms, articles, and pluralization, while also attempting more varied complex sentence structures.
