Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the view that public interest justifies photographers following celebrities, and the counter-perspective regarding privacy and intrusion. A position is presented, although it is expressed rather weakly in the conclusion. The ideas are somewhat limited and underdeveloped, often lacking depth of explanation. For instance, the argument about financial gain is stated briefly as 'doing generally earn side income, do marketing them selves' without detailed elaboration or concrete examples. Similarly, the negative impacts such as anxiety and depression are mentioned but not fully explored. This places the performance within Band 5, as the task is addressed, but the development of ideas remains superficial and lacks the clear extension expected at higher band levels.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an attempt at logical organisation. However, the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For instance, phrases like 'The following paragraphs shall narrate all possible measurements along with personal perspective' are formulaic and misuse vocabulary ('measurements' instead of 'aspects'). Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or awkward, such as 'Consequential, it would create strong impact on viewers mind' and 'Whereas, there are numbers of celebrity who oppose this phenomena.' Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion within paragraphs lacks smoothness, leading to a choppy and occasionally confusing reading experience. Overall, this aligns with a Band 5 descriptor where organisation is present, but progression and cohesion are flawed.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited and contains frequent word choice and collocation errors that impact clarity. Examples include 'mushroom growth of fashion trend', 'consider to become a photogenic personality', and 'making fund via other source of trick.' The writer attempts less common vocabulary, such as 'phenomena' and 'endorsement', but these are often used inaccurately or ungrammatically (e.g., 'this phenomena' using a plural form as a singular). Spelling and morphological errors are noticeable throughout the text, such as 'themselves' written as two words ('them selves') and 'failed' used instead of 'fail'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey a general meaning, the persistent errors place this text firmly at Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response features a very limited range of grammatical structures, and attempts at complex sentences frequently result in serious structural errors and non-standard syntax. Examples include 'it is often consider to become a photogenic personality in public is an explosive trend' and 'allowing limitations are much suitable.' Subject-verb agreement, tense consistency, and clause structures show frequent errors, such as 'the each and every moment... is actually carry out' and 'The essay has been discussed both the side.' Punctuation and sentence boundaries occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Because the control of grammar is weak and complex sentences are consistently marred by errors, the grammar score falls into Band 4.
